We leave 2 weeks from today! On July 31st – so I’ll list my preparations, plans and purchases first and then come back and update as we go.

Here we are and some of our purchases (from L to R - my daughter, me, new Disney cane, luggage tags, magic bands and ponchos):

590315

This is a 5 night, 6 day Disney World trip for myself and my daughter who is turning 17 halfway through the trip. After the pandemic, lots of life changes, etc., this is a much-needed and well-deserved trip for her.

She's going to start a Tik Tok channel for it (we have a Dec/Jan trip planned after this) so I got her phone upgraded and got her a Gimbal stabilizer for her videos.

As an FYI, I'm on a scooter due to knee injuries. I love Gold Mobility Scooters for the Disney trips.

This is the first time I'm going to try to ride scary rides. (Even Barnstormer looked terrifying to me lol). But I hated last time her having to ride by herself. I've been working with a personal trainer to try to strengthen my arms/legs so I feel more secure on scary rides.

Okay! Let’s get started…

Shopping and Stuff I Bought:

A new Disney Mickey Mouse cane from an Etsy seller, Minnie ponchos, luggage tags, cooling towels, new iPhone 12 Pros and a stabilizer for hers to do videos and have fun with it, Magic Bands (I got a Disney Mom Minnie Mouse one and she got pink sparkles – I hope they always let us do magic bands), rechargeable fans that the Dis mentioned, new purse, luggage, clothes, etc. My daughter got two new pairs of ears from Etsy – one was a birthday pair and the other is flowers – so cute. Also got tons of Disney gift cards to use from Sams and Target.

I originally was only going to make it a 4 night trip but I ended up adding a night, so here are our plans so far:

July 31st – Flying first class into MCO (I’m overweight and don’t want to squish anyone in a seat next to me). We were originally going to stay at the airport hotel but changed flights so now we go to Yacht Club for one night.

Got a one day park ticket no hopper to Epcot (the rest of my trip has hopper but it was a pain to switch it to a package to add this day). I plan to ride Frozen (for the drop – I know it’s small, but it’ll scare me LOL), Soarin' and Test Track (which both scare me, but I enjoy them) to help me get my nerves up.

We’ll eat at the F&W booths and we have a late dinner at Il Mulino (new to us) that night.

August 1st – Epcot Day Part 2

Breakfast scheduled for Trattoria al Forno (new to us) – then we check out of Yacht Club and into Beach Club (my favorite)!

I had already booked Epcot for this day, but that’s fine – we love it. We’ll ride rides again, shop in all the stores, and eat our way around the world. That France brioche ice cream thing looks amazing.

Since we have 2 days here, we MAY park hop at 2 over to HS or MK since the monorail will be working.

August 2nd – Magic Kingdom Day

This will be my first time taking a bus, and I’m nervous. I formerly paid for Minnie Vans and I’m so sad they’re gone. It was worth it not feeling embarrassed. But c’est la vie. By the way, being overweight on a scooter in itself is embarrassing because I feel like people think it’s just because I’m lazy, but I can’t walk well. I’ve seen too many “make fun of scooter people” videos on YouTube, I guess.

We have lunch reserved at Liberty Tree Tavern (new to us) and dinner at Cinderella’s Royal Table (also new to us).

Lord help me – this is the first majorly scary ride I’ll be riding this trip – Splash Mountain. I plan on first getting my nerve up by going on the following scary (to me) rides first: Barnstormer (don’t laugh lol), Peter Pan (yep, looks high and scares me), Big Thunder Mountain (I did it once but I screamed in terror the entire time), Pirates of the Caribbean (never been but I heard it has a drop), and Seven Dwarves Mine Train (never been but looks terrifying). I’ll end the day with Splash and hope those 3 seconds don’t make me pass out.

August 3rd – Hollywood Studios (and Birthday Day!)

This is my daughter’s favorite park so we planned Mama Melrose (one of her favorites) for lunch and we have Shula’s Steakhouse (never been) for a late dinner.

For rides, you know I’m going to be terrified this day – we have Tower of Terror (having been stuck in an elevator once this one is not going to be easy), and Rock N Roller Coaster. I think I’d be fine if not for that take off, but I’m going to try to get up the nerve. My main fear is not being able to breathe during it because I heard it takes your breath away. But it’s 60 seconds – live life!

I would LOVE to ride Slinky Dog Dash but honestly, that being outside and so high scares me even more than the others. But I might! We’ll see how I’ve done so far. To her, it's a baby ride so she doesn't care either way.

We may park hop this day if we’ve done the rides and all. We could go to MK or Epcot or both.

August 4th – Animal Kingdom

Checking out of Beach Club and having luggage sent to Contemporary because I added an extra day. This will be a blast for her to do three deluxe resorts she’s never done. I’ve been to Beach Club but I’ve never stayed at Yacht Club or Contemporary, though.

Have to take a bus again to Animal Kingdom. I’m excited to ride Dinosaur. Looks scary. We may go back to Contemporary after 2 and then over to MK if we feel like it. She’s not into Pandora/FoP, etc. So we only have a few things to ride here, and walk around, etc.

We have dinner planned at Citricos (one of her favorites), so we’ll take the resort monorail to GF and have dinner, get some bath bombs and then come back.

August 5th – Magic Kingdom and Home Day

We have a late flight, so we’re going to have breakfast at Chef Mickey’s then hit up MK. We get to be there until around 3 PM, then back to turn in the scooter, catch the Tragic Express and go home until late December.

We love foodie, shopping and thrill vacations so we’ll be back to post lots of pics, costs and details! I'm excited about all the new food places we haven't tried yet and for her to get to stay in all 3 resorts that are new to her.

Annnnnd we’re off! First time using tsa precheck and what a nice perk that is at DFW.
Running on fumes as we only got three hours of sleep but we’re excited so who cares? Was hoping to caffeinate but Starbucks is closed so water it is!

Almost had a little mishap when the scooter company confirmed for Sunday and I had to correct them for today. I’d have been so mad if I got there and couldn’t walk. 😂

We are landing at 10:56 in Orlando and taking the ME to the Yacht Club for a one night stay before we transfer to Beach Club.

We’ll be heading to Epcot today and I can’t wait! I want to ride Frozen (I’m very scared of drops and have never ridden it) and test track and Soarin - all scary to me. Haha.

We’ll keep y’all posted!

Noooo! They stole our magical express ride from us and put us on a mears shuttle! 😭😭 so the flight was smooth but in takeoff a man in front of us passed out then had a seizure upon waking - scary to watch unfold. Poor fam. Some guy next to us kept pulling his mask down to sneeze huge out into the open air. No kleenex. Not even a hand. Just spew. That was gross. But it was a smooth flight and we enjoyed the rest of it. Baby girl is looking adorable while mama is a fat melting mess but ima roll with it! 😂😂

Great shot! I'm sure your luck will change for the better soon.....

Checked in at yacht club. It’s okay. Nowhere near as good as beach club to me. Doesn’t feel disneyish at all just kind of sterile/cold. They were friendly just the overall vibe.

Yesterday went to Epcot! Not crowded - plenty of room and weather was nice but hot. No rain. Crowd was dispersed nicely. Plexiglass is back inside.

We got tons of fast pass line access - sometimes due to the scooter and sometimes due to my daughters birthday pin.

Stopped by Canada for filet mignon (daughter) then refreshment port for maple Boursin cheesecake for both. mmmmmm. My favorite!

Rode Frozen for the first time and we loved it. Lines app way more accurate than the Disney one. Cuts time in half. We also rode Soarin (14 min wait!), Test Track, grand fiesta (hope I got that name right), and Nemo. Test track of as fun except some horrible ladies who yelled at their their 4 year old little girl and hit her. Ugh. Took all I had not to go off.

Went to Mexico for tostadas and Congo juice. Daughter enjoyed her tostadas and I just got juice.

Other stuff we got:

Donut box blueberry lemon - stale ick
Tangerine cafe - stone bread (yum), chicken kebab (yum), falafel (yuck), pistachio cake (ick).

Flavors of fire s’mores whoopie pie was yummy. I had a bite of hers and loved the fire taste. Smokey.

Earth eats chili is amazing but the slider was a little dry.

Dinner was at 10:30 at Il Mulino at Swan and Dolphin. When we were seated I could tell the two tables near us were mad at the waiter. One guy about had a fit when he waited on us instead of them. I think they’d been left waiting. We got good service. The food though was ehhhh ok. The bread they bring out was AMAZING. Scarlett wanted aged Parmesan cheese and it was sour to me. For dinner we ordered linguini but instead of clam sauce we asked for white wine garlic sauce. It tasted fishy to me so I only ate 2 small bites. We also had rosemary potatoes (stale and bland) and garlic bread which didn’t taste like garlic at all to me. Dessert was pretty good. I got a tartufo (gelato encased in chocolate) which was basically ice cream with magic shell 😂😂 we enjoyed food and wine festival food more than this place.

More later because we’re doing Epcot day two today but here are some pics:

Today was a beautiful day at Epcot! Crowd level was so low earlier in the day. We road Soarin a couple of times as well as Living with the Land and Spaceship Earth. Test track stopped for a weather threat while we were in line so we left.

Did lots of shopping today at Mousegearand Japan. Got some cute t shirts and other fun stuff my daughter wanted.

We came back to beach club around 4 to drop off the merch and rest for a quick minute then went back until around 9 before we came back to the resort.

The room is almost identical to yacht but then I remembered why I thought beach club was so much better - last time I stayed here I had club level and the room seemed more spacious. Not sure if that’s true.

Staff and everyone on property and in parks is sooooo nice and I have to say, besides the one lady being mean to her little girl the other day everyone has been so friendly and happy and amazing. I overheard one woman tell her husband tonight “I’m so full and so happy right now.” Loved it.

As for us food wise we taste tested a ton of stuff!

Had the Grand Marnier creme Brûlée and braised chicken from France - both sooooo good!

Scarlett had the chicken ravioli, fried cheese, and raspberry doughnuts from Italy. She enjoyed it. and baby girl in France.

I tried the griddled cheese From Greece, which is made from goat milk, something I always swore I would never try. I took two teeny bites and that was enough for me. LOL

Scarlett got some braised beef poutine and she enjoyed that. I got a croque glase made w coffee ice cream in France and omg Heaven! She got a waffle cone bowl with two scoops of ice cream, ate a few bites of ice cream and then threw the ice cream away and ate the waffle cone. LOL

She also got a cinnamon chai drink from Joffrey‘s. It’s amazing how much water I drink when I’m here. It’s about four dollars per bottle I think but worth it in the heat.

I got the duo au chocolate from france’s les halles. Also got another creme brûlée (both of us) and Scarlett got a macaron collection. We also got her pan fried dumplings and mango bubble milk tea from China.

We got beach club marketplace tonight - baked Mac n cheese (old) and half chicken w mashed potatoes and corn and cornbread. The chicken part was good but I threw the rest away.

Tomorrow is magic kingdom which means splash mountain and I am TERRIFIED. But I’m gonna pretend not to be.

Day 3: Today was a tiring day but fun. We started out taking a bus for the first time to Magic Kingdom. That went very well. Bus drivers were nice and parked for me after I drove my scooter up.

We entered magic kingdom and road Pirates of the Caribbean first. That was an enjoyable one with a small drop. Then we went straight to splash Mountain but it was closed, so we went to ride haunted mansion, but it was closed too.

So we rode Big Thunder Mountain instead. This ride jerks you around so much doctors literally send patients there to break up kidney stones and I’m not even lying. Lol! Then we went to Peter Pan.

After that, we finally went to splash and I was absolutely terrified. I even started tearing up as we stood there about to board and Scarlett asked if I wanted to back down but I said no and got on. First two drops were nothing and the seat in front of you comes up so high and the bar fits so snug that you feel very secure. At two different points we got stuck and a huge line formed and I was afraid we would be evacuated. But we didn’t and eventually it was time to go down the hill. By the time we got there, I felt better about being able to handle it. When the boat started flying down to 50 foot drop, by the time you feel the momentum, it’s over. So I can now ride that any time and be OK with it. I was very proud of myself. LOL

After that we went and got a frozen Coke and donut holes for me, a Mickey pretzel and a churro for my daughter, and sat in some rocking chairs and watched the parade go by.

We then had about an hour until our lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern so we decided to give her feet a break and hop on the liberty river boat. This is a 20 minute ride and has very beautiful scenery, but it was hot in the sun.

After that, we washed our hands and headed to lunch. We were seated in the Betsy Ross dining room. And they brought our drinks first and then a salad that was extremely delicious and some rolls, but those were cold.

Shortly after, they brought our turkey and stuffing (we don’t eat roast or pork), mashed potatoes, green beans, and mac & cheese. Also brought some gravy. As for the food, the turkey was OK, the mashed potatoes where are amazing. I thought the stuffing tasted good. The green beans and mac & cheese left something to be desired. The main thing I didn’t like about this meal is that because of the doors constantly being opened and closed, there were flies in the restaurant, so you had to continually shoo them away from your food. I just can’t eat food after a fly lands on it. Our service was very good. After the meal, he brought out the dessert, which was some sort of cookie with ice cream on top. It was extremely delicious. We only took a few bites of everything.

By this time, my daughters feet were hurting from walking so much the last couple of days, so I told her I would be fine if we went back to the resort so she could rest this evening and enjoy her birthday tomorrow. But I forgot we had reservations at Cinderella‘s Royal table at 8:50 PM. She also has wanted to try some sort of float at Aloha Isle so we went and got that first and stood in a breezeway to cool off while we ate a little bit of that.

We decided to go by Cinderella‘s castle and ask if they could possibly get us in earlier, since it was pre-paid. We barely touched our meal at liberty tree Tavern, so we were able to get in right then and go eat early.

It was definitely something I wanted to mark off my list to eventually do, but I probably wouldn’t go back. Very good for those with small children. And the food was really good for adults. We weren’t impressed by the appetizers, though. She had the charcuterie board, which she didn’t touch. I had the salad, but it was a very tart dressing, but not in a good way. For the main entrées, she had the tenderloin, and it was cooked perfectly. She loved the asparagus and potatoes that were with it. I had the chicken meal and it was very moist and delicious. It had these little potatoes served with it they were also very good. Ate a few bites. I did not eat the green beans because they were thin hard ones. For dessert, she had the coffee pots de creme and I had the clock strikes midnight (chocolate mousse). Both were amazing, but again we only ate a little bit and they also brought her a birthday cupcake.

After eating, we decided to go to Main Street confectionary but it was closed so we just left and rode the bus back - again, very nice driver.

I have not seen trash like some reported or rude people.

We came back to the beach club and went to the market place to get a few snacks in case we got hungry later. Then we came up to the room and for some reason, I crashed hard. I’ve been on a scooter! So I’m not sure where I’ve exerted myself but maybe the sun did it. About two hours later, I woke up. We will see how we feel, but we may or may not pick up something to eat later or we might just go straight to sleep and get a good nights sleep.

Tomorrow is baby girl‘s 17th birthday and we will go to Hollywood studios and ride the scary rides, have lunch at mama Melrose and maybe park hop if her feet will allow it. We also have dinner reservations at Shula’s steakhouse in the early evening.

We didn’t know what to expect on pirates so we are bracing for anything in the pic and have locked arms 😂

Day 4 but last night after I woke up we were hungry so we did a walk on to the cape may cafe list and got seated. Had the BEST and sweetest server - Kim S - so I tipped her over 100%. It was end of shift and she just exuded positivity.
We told them we don’t eat seafood so they brought us the chicken and beef. We did get my daughter the lobster Mac n cheese because she was okay with that and we never saw any lobster in it anyway. The citrus salad was yummy as were the rolls. The chicken was fantastic! It also had veggies and mashed potatoes which were good. The dessert tray was split up and we tater a bit of each. I only liked 1-2 of them.
Went to bed and got up for rope drop at Hollywood studios today. We walked in and went straight to tower of terror. Sucks the queue doesn’t allow scooters because it’s long and brutal but it was rope drop so not too many ahead of us. I rode it! I have been terrified of it. Those handles worked well and boy did I use them. The ride is smooth but I did find myself thinking “Okkkkk that’s enough! Is this the last drop?” 😂😂

Scarlett went on rockin rollercoaster. Again they don’t allow the scooters in queue and it’s almost an hour wait so she did single rider while I enjoyed a frozen coke.

It was drizzling this morning and we were actually chilly walking over from Beach Club.
After she finished the coaster we went to mama melrose but they wouldn’t seat us early so we got her a churro and then went to the 3D muppets show - very cute. Nice theater. We also shopped a 594362but

Went to lunch at Mama Melrose. Oddly the hostess said we couldn’t take our masks off at the table until our food and drinks were brought out but no body else has told us this - they all said as soon as seated but ok. They had empty tables and plexiglass to help w spacing.
Lunch was good! I had Caesar salad with mamas Italian spaghetti and chicken and my daughter had the margherita flatbread and same entree and myself. That chicken was amazinggggg! We didn’t get dessert because we weren’t hungry but they brought her a cupcake.
We then decided to leave and come back to beach club to rest our feet and get ready for shulas steakhouse tonight for her birthday dinner. We will hit up Epcot later tonight afterwards.

The rest of the day was fun. We went back to beach club and napped and got ready for her birthday dinner at Shula’s Steakhouse. She got all dolled up and had a wonderful time. The dinner and service were wonderful.

She had the meatballs for appetizer and filet mignon with mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese. I had the French onion soup (I’d always wanted to try this but it didn’t like like the others I’d seen. I wouldn’t order it again. But my brick roasted chicken and mashed potatoes with spinach was amazing. Perfectly cooked. We had the creme brûlée for dessert and they gave her hers on the house with a candle. We had two servers - an older gentleman who was very kind and a really nice and fun younger guy - not sure which one Jonathan B was but that was his name.
After dinner we returned to the beach club to change clothes and head to Epcot. Went to mouse gear and then around the world to shop at Mexico, China and Germany. Stayed for fireworks and now we are back at the resort packing.
Tomorrow we have our bags transferred so we can head to animal kingdom and then we head to contemporary for our third resort. Happy that in December we are only staying at one resort - boardwalk. Lol.

Two things my dorky self found funny while at Disney World:

1. I was on the bus and the driver (wearing a mask) came up to me and said “Y’all beach club?” I said yes. So he repeated “y’all beach club?” So this time I said yes, gave two thumbs up and nodded in case he didn’t understand.

So Scarlett goes “MOM! He’s asking yacht or beach club?” Lmaooooo the Texan in me heard y’all.

2. Today at magic kingdom Scarlett said, “you know what I find hilarious? You scooter riders have this club that you’re in where, when you pass each other, you nod and check out each others’ scooters.”
😂
😂
😂
we do! People ask where you got yours or what certain accessories are. I feel so old!

Day 5: Off to Animal Kingdom. We sent our bags over to Contemporary and boarded a bus. I was so worried for nothing over the buses but I DO still prefer Minnie Vans for scooters. Scarlett is all dressed in an animal print cute skirt for AK. We were both done with the humidity, hair up! Hers looks cute - mine just looks horrid. LOL!

595473

We went straight to Expedition Everest to ensure she got to ride it - she rode single rider with a nice guy who chatted with her about his little sister, who was also riding (and scared) to keep her company. I appreciated this since I can't do this one.

We then went straight onto Kali River Rapids and I think she was annoyed she got soaked. Last time I rode it, I barely got any drops on me. Wouldn't have mattered anyway because it POURED this day and I mean that rain was coming up and under my umbrella. I was a drowned rat.

Disney had NO shelter from this. Everywhere was packed. No room. We ended up in the Majarahaha (?) jungle just strolling through while it poured.

I have to say I really dislike this park. To me, it's a glorified zoo and the navigation is terrible. I was so confused trying to find our way around. All these little pathways veering off and big groups just stop in the middle suddenly and block everyone else. That, the navigation and the rain, I was just not having much fun with that and normally it doesn't bother me. I just felt bad because her feet had hurt this trip, and here I was getting lost and causing more pain.

We ended up breaking and having some lunch at Flame Tree BBQ so she could rest and I could get unfrustrated and stop trying to rapidly find my way around. The chicken was very good - we split it. I dislike white meat, so she ate that part. I ate one of her mandarin oranges.

We went to ride Dinosaur and OMG that was fun.

We also went and did the "It's Tough to Be a Bug" and I thought it was neat that it was under the Tree of Life and it was funny because the little kids screamed when the termite blew "acid water" on us and the spiders came down. I'd have been terrified of that as a kid.

For a snack, I got the most amazing cupcake. For anyone who prefers a mountain of frosting and a sliver of cake, this one's for you. It's at the Harambe Market:

When I took off the paper liner, I realized it was almost all frosting.

We left a bit early because neither of us really liked it (and she doesn't care about Pandora, FOP, etc).

Went to Contemporary and we loved our room. It was WAY more spacious than the other 2 resorts BUT the resort itself is definitely a convention resort - not Disneyish at all.

We were SO cold we cranked the heat (the wet clothes and air conditioner were brutal). My shoes were soaked too and it was then that I realized I forgot my backups. So we headed off to the gift shop to buy the ugliest but surprisingly comfiest MEN'S crocs I could find. LOL! The women's shoes were flip flop types or tight tennis shoes and my left injured leg and foot were swollen. Check out these bad boys haha:

Day 5 Continued:

So after we got to the contemporary like drowned rats, they brought our bags up and we changed and went to grab a sandwich and for her a slice of pizza from the cafe downstairs. Also got the cutest monorail cupcake!

Then we relaxed and got ready and went to Citricos, where they’ve updated both the decor (looks much better - very elegant and I love the upside down umbrella chandeliers) and the chef (hit or miss). I miss the old menu.

For appetizers, we both got sweet corn bisque, which was so warm and yummy. Loved the presentation too. Poured tableside. I believe it had popcorn and pickled fennel in it. The bread they brought was ok. Kind of hard and cold.

For entrees, Scarlett had a filet mignon and I had roulade of chicken with kale and roasted turnips. We also shared a side of smoked cauliflower.

595485 595486

Hers was decent. Mine was not. The chicken pinwheel things looked like chicken mashed back together and were fatty. The kale had random chicken shreds mixed in with it, which I didn’t like. The turnips on my plate and the side of smoke cauliflower were amazing.

For dessert, we got it to go because it was FREEZING in the restaurant. I had the chocolate torte, which was like a Black Forest cake with cherries inside. Very yummy. Scarlett got the blackberry lemon tarte and I tasted it - the lemon part was good. The rest not.

I wouldn’t return now with the new chef, unfortunately. Disappointing overall.

We hopped on the monorail back to contemporary just in time to ride while fireworks were happening, so that was pretty.

Back in our room, we were honestly wishing our flight was early. We were so ready to be home. I think all future trips should be 3 nights 4 days. But we had another day of parks to do - one more day of Magic Kingdom and a late flight.

So here's the REAL fun part. I took a bath to soak my knee. Bath was lovely - a deep one, so you get a nice soak. I stood up and as I lifted my right leg to exit the bath, my left leg slipped. So I quickly put my right leg on the floor to balance myself, and swung my left leg toward the right one, forgetting that this tub was much deeper than mine at home. BAM! My left foot impales the tub. I believe I broke 2 of the 3 far left toes. Almost passed out. They're black and blue and red and swollen and thank God I got those oversized shoes because now, my own tennis shoes won't even fit. (My son created a splint for it and iced it for me when I got home and it's starting to heal a tiny bit).

We canceled Chef Mickey for the following morning so we could sleep in and made late reservations for 11:10 AM at Grand Floridian Cafe before we went to sleep.

Last day!

Sleeping in was AMAZING. We needed it. We had bell services pick up our luggage and then went to the monorail to the Grand Floridian Cafe. I LOVE this place. We always go but this time I'd been unable to make a reservation until the last minute for the right time.

We were quickly seated and ordered coffee, orange juice, and her shirley temple. So good.

595491

We had to ask for the biscuits that they used to automatically bring, but they were very good! They brought 4 but we'd already eaten 2 - I love that citrus butter:

595490

I got the French Toast with turkey sausage and she got the buttermilk pancakes with bacon.

595492 595493

The waitress was nice and I wanted to use up the rest of my gift card, so it tipped her over 100%. She said we made her entire day. I love that these people have come back to work. We encountered nothing but amazing cast members the entire time.

We hit the monorail and went to Magic Kingdom. Crowded and hot, and my daughter was exhausted. I was still in pain but didn't show it. We rode Winnie the Pooh and everything else was about an hour ride. So even though we'd JUST eaten an hour ago, we made walk up reservations for Tony's Tavern JUST to sit in AC, remove our mask and rest until it was time to leave.

It's SO super loud in there. But Tony’s Tavern was very delicious! WAY better than what I had last time we were there. We split some fried mozzarella for starters. The bread they brought out was a hard, cold brick. Pass.

595494 595495

Scarlett had chicken Alfredo and I had Impossible (fake) meatballs and spaghetti. They were both really good. I was already full, so I just ate one meatballs and a bite of spaghetti. If you're a vegetarian, I highly recommend it.

595496 595497

But the star of the meal was this chocolate hazelnut budino, which is chocolate hazelnut custard with chocolate torta topped with caramel, toasted meringue and pralines.

595498

I would fly to Orlando for this dessert it was so good. Rich and creamy and thank God I can’t make it. I was not hungry, but I DID eat this. LOL!

We then went back to the resort. My scooter was picked up and we waited for our magical express bus ride to the airport. My foot worsened. Scarlett said it looks like I filled a glove with water to the max. Ouch. I wanna be home.

Luckily, at the airport, a bag guy was waiting by the magical express and he took our bags and escorted us to the priority American Airlines line. She called for a wheelchair for me since I was so injured and God Bless him. He was so kind and nice and fun. HE whipped us right through TSA precheck and all the way to my gate. Was sure to tip both guys (bags and wheels).

AA was supposed to have a wheelchair waiting for me upon arrival but they didn't and the lady at the counter about bit my head off when I merely asked, so I said forget it. We found one abandoned by a wall at an empty gate and Scarlett just pushed me in it. Bless her heart.
