Modifying FP

I booked our FastPasses this morning and got 90% of what I wanted, when I wanted it. My only question is in regards to Magic Kingdom.

My initial goal was to get a 7DMT for 9-10 (hard to get, I realize) and Thunder Mtn for 1:30-2:30.I ended up having to flip flop the times so now we have thunder mountain at 9:00-10:00 and 7DMT at 1:55-2:55. I’d like to keep checking the website and modify if anything becomes available in my preferred time. So basically, flip flop the 2. I also have a space mountain for 10:40-11:40

But I know I can’t see any available fastpasses for the time I already have some booked. Any ideas on how I can do this? Or am I out of luck?

There is an outstanding thread at the top of this forum that in the beginning goes through all the basics and will save you a lot of headaches once you're at the parks as well. The short answer to your question is, yes you can modify your fast passes. First select the date you want to modify, then the park, your FP's should appear and select the one you want to modify first. Start by moving one an hour before or after, then move the second. There's no way to just flip flop them. Changes are not made until you accept them, so this is how you look for available times as well.

I would only modify 7DMT if i could get the time i want, not the other one first. It will probably be fairly easy to find a BTM for afternoon but dont switch the time on that one to overlap with 7D until you've moved Mine Train. That one is the most important and therefore more difficult to move.

What time does the park open that day? I don’t think you’ll really even need a FP for btmr at 9. I would try moving btmr later that day and keep refreshing to get 7dmt in the morning.

You can see available times even if you have all three FPs booked (I think that is what you are asking). You just go through the process as if you are going to change or modify a FP - your current FPs will not be cancelled until you finalize the modify/change process. So you can search to see what is available but then just cancel out of the modification/change if you don't see a time you prefer.

Does the park open at 9:00 this day? If it does and if you aren't able to find a FP for 7DMT close to 9:00, I would actually suggest getting rid of the 9:00 BTMRR FP and scheduling something else. You can just rope drop it and you won't have a wait since most people head straight for 7DMT or Space Mountain at rope drop.

Changes occur for everyone before you get there. So, keep checking. I was tweaking up to about three weeks before and it all paid off. I got the exact times I wanted in every park.

Keep in mind people even cancel trips last minute; so, you can certainly check to see if you can get what you want.

I also wanted a morning PF+ for 7DMT, but the earliest available when I booked my FPs was 5pm. I've been checking daily to see if I can modify it to an earlier time, but no luck so far. But as previous posters said, just click on the one you want to modify and if any times are available they'll show up at the top, otherwise it will say choose a different experience. I just exit out of it without making any changes and my original FP+ stays in place.
