Modern Family filming at DL on leap day!

Unexpectedly walked into the middle of a filming session for Modern Family yesterday morning, so cool! They were filming right in front of the entrance for the line to Splash Mountain.

They had a lane cordoned off with rope on the right side so you could get out to Pooh, etc., so as we walked through we got to watch the filming a bit. When we thought they were done, we headed back toward NOS, and they said "Action" and started filming again! DH and I may have even made it on camera, walking right behind Ed O'Neill and Sofia Vergara arguing about Splash Mountain...... DH took a pic, will see if it is worth posting. The tiny camera we took this time is hit and miss.

This is so cool--I love that show!

I've read a lot of trip reports where people have seen celebrities at Disneyland or LAX.

Wondering if anyone has been lucky enough to spot the rich and famous at DLR and if so, who?

Cool to see, but bad timing. Disneyland was a total cluster schmuck and filming Modern Family made it worse - at one point the main entrance was closed down but for a couple of turnstyles and the parade was ending, folks had nowhere to go. Ugh.

They were throughout the Park over the course of the day -- and I think the next day as well.

They were filming at DL on March 2nd as well, right near Storybook Land. We were trying to get from Mad Tea Cups to Small World to meet the rest of our group and had to back out and walk all the way around the Matterhorn. I love the show, but it was not convenient. Still preferable to the 3 hour security closure on the 3rd, though!
