MOD vs Value room sizes etc

How much bigger are the moderate resorts than the value. We can save 500. by staying at POP instead of CSR, but is it worth it???

I know there is a big thread about the "unappealing" value resorts but, personally, I have no problem staying there. We stayed at Pop Century in Jan. 2004 (when it first opened) and it was wonderful. Yes, the rooms are a little smaller (don't know the exact difference) but we hardly do anything but shower and sleep in our rooms anyway. Personally, I'd save the $$.

NHBelle--where in NH? We just moved back to FL from MA. (Lived on the NH border of MA). Enjoy! Gotta love those cheap flights to Orlando out of Manchester!!

Value resort rooms are 260 square feet. Moderates are 314 square feet except for Caribbean Beach, which are 340 square feet.

For 2 or possibly 3 people the values are worth it. If you have a fourth person in your room, IMHO, it just will not be comfortable and I'd go with a mod (CBR has the largest rooms of the mods) Good luck! I've stayed at CBR, Pop and Dixie Landings (when it was still DL) and I can tell you that you should be fine.

The room at ASMo last fall was about the size of a standard hotel room.....Comfort Inn, Holiday Inn, etc.

we never had a problem with any level of resort room. In all honesty, the rooms may be a little smaller, but mods and values have the same furniture, so you basically have the same seating arrangements. For the amount of time we are in our rooms, we stay NOW at value,we started at Deluxe, but moved our way down - kind of opposite of most people, as we appreciate having the extra money to splurge on other things. Once we did the V&A Chef Table and that one meal cost was more than the room for the vacation - yes, we are different. Back on topic....

If you will spend lots of time in your room go for the Mod, if not a value should be fine in our opinion.
