mobile orders and charging to a disney gift card

Last December I wasn't able to save a disney gift card as my perferred method of payment on my MDE account (or I couldn't figure it out) so all the mobile orders went against my Credit Card. Has that changed and now I can save a gift card on my MDE account to use to pay for mobile orders or how do I charge to the gift card through the Mobile Order.

During my last two trips to WDW (November 2020 and April 2021), I was able to use a Disney Gift Card when placing mobile orders (at resorts or theme parks). However, like you have experienced, there is no way to save your Gift Card to your MDE account. When paying for your order, you can select another form of payment. So you can select Disney Gift Card and then enter the Gift Card numbers.

Leaving DW today and no, you still can’t save a gift card for mobile order.

Last time we went pre-covid, you couldn't use GC's, glad to hear we can now. I've got an insane amount that have been sitting here since our first trip was cancelled.
