I have bought tickets for our 9 year old granddaughter to attend but we will also have a 3 1/2 year old granddaughter with us. I do not want her to feel left out when we leave to go this event. I really want to take her but I am thinking about buying her a ticket and if she does not like it taking her back to our resort. I will purchase a ticket for her and one of her parents. We will be staying at Bay Lake Towers. Both parents will not be able to attend because she will have at this time a nine month old brother. What to do? I think I will purchase them because $120.00 is nothing compared to hurting her feelings. My concern also is if she will be frightened by what she sees and also how tired she will be. What do you fine folks think?
Nothing to be frightened-- it's a "not so scary" halloween party for a reason.
It's all light-hearted Disney fun... you can meet a lot of characters not otherwise out, and the princes who are not usually out in particular. Plus the characters like Mickey & gang have their costumes on.
the Villains show is fabulous (fun, not scary). The parade is the best I ever saw at Disney ever-- it's so much fun. They also have a special fireworks show.
If she's a toy story fan, Woody has a dance where Jessie & Bullseye are there, they just wander around dancing & taking pics with kids-- no lines.
The rides are practically walk on. You get to trick or treat.
Oh, if she likes Toy Story, Woody has a harvest dance with Jessie & Bullseye, the kids come in and dance with them, and take pics-- but it's a party so there's no lines. And if she prefers Stitch, he has a party in Tomorrowland w/Chip & Dale & Goofy. Again, dancing, not lines, so it's great.
At her age, the biggest concern would just be if she'll start conking out at 10:00, but a lot of people with young kids start leaving by then, which is why the later parade (at 10:30) is less crowded.
My kids are older but this is a perfect Halloween event for a 3 yr old, totally safe, cute Halloween fun.
