We went twice last year. First party - went at 6pm, Second party went at 4pm. First party, we had been at another park and already eaten, Second party we had a ps at Crystal Palace for around 4:25. Personally, I think it's better to not have a PS during party time - why waste party time sitting in a restaurant? CP characters do NOT dress up; I believe the Liberty Tree Tavern characters do.

We did the party 10/31 in 2003 and 10/1 in 2004. I preferred the non sold out party better.

Both times we arrived at 4pm to take full advantage. We always use the afternoon to relax and swim. Both years we also ate at LTT. The characters and servers are all dressed up. They are not at CP.

That's awesome. We will be at MNSSHP for the first time on 10/6 and have a PS for 5:35 at LTT!!!! From the pictures I've seen, it looks like the characters at LTT are dressed up in costume.
