Hello fellow Diser's...well, we are going back to the world for FD again this year!!!! Cant wait, flights are book, ADR's made. Now to our newest dilemna...should we do MNSSHP or not???

Here is the story...me, DH and DD (3.5). My parents and niece are coming to join us for the first half of our trip, but they are leaving us on Oct 1. We are tyring to decied whether or not it is worth it to do the party on that night. DD LOVES TRICK OR TREATING..so that is a plus, and have heard that you can get on alot of rides with little wait. Do you think it is too scary for a toddler though? I know she would love seeing more characters, she loves the rides, would love the parade ( we usually mis them during the day)..feel like I am talking myself into this. I was able to snag a 6pm ADR for Crystal Palace..is this too late if we do the party?

Thanks for all opinions...Steph

I highly recommend MNSSHP. We don't even do the rides b/c of all the other activities.
You can see the special parades and fireworks, have your pic taken at the HM and with Cinderella's coach, plus the dance parties and trick or treating. A 6:00pm ressie at CP is just fine. Nothing will start until 7:00pm. I will say that if you want your DD pic with the coach you need to get over there right away. That line can get long.
The whole party is such a good time.

Go for it,a great party and a fun fun evening for all. :goodvibes :goodvibes :thumbsup2 :) :wizard: :woohoo: :yay: :cloud9:

That is why it is called Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween party and to us it is the best of the the 2 holiday parties. The parade is the best and so is Hallowishes. We bought the CD at the Party and listen to it all the time. Dh and I don't have children and we both left with a huge bag of candy. Take you little one, especially since she loves to Trick or Treat.

But, I do have to say to skip the rides and just enjoy all of the party events. There are so many things going on, you really won't have time to ride the rides, but they can be walk on.

Thanks for posting this!! I was about to post a questions about this party myself. I am new here and new to WDW, my family will be taking its first Disney Trip ever for our 25th Wedding Anniversary in 2012. I know that is far out there but I am trying to plan finance wise, there will be 7 of us going. Two of whom will be my granddaughters, ages 4 and 3. I would like to do this for them. Our anniversary is October 22nd, so we will be staying that week. How much is the current cost of the Mickey Halloween Party? I know it will go up by the time we get to go, but I would like an idea of the cost so I can plan accordingly. Thank you!
