we were there last night and I was surprised to see that it was sold out. We went 2 years ago at the same time and felt like we had the place to ourselves. Is it common for the early dates to sell out now? Still had a fantastic time and longest wait we had was 7dwarfs and that was only 20 min.

Last night's Party was the last party night to offer discounted CM tickets. I believe that had a lot to do with the sell-out status.

Not really, starting to get into the next couple of weeks which are busier weeks in the parks, including the 45 anniversary later this week. Saturday was a really crowded
day/night (not party)

Thanks, @11290! I keep forgetting about the 1st as not much has been reported on possible events taking place. All I've seen is a photo of the pin.

The only place I really noticed the crowds last night were for the shows. Ugh it was miserable at the villain show. Other than that we had a great spot for the parade and I didn't think candy lines or rides were bad. Maybe we just got lucky with our timing.

We were there on Sunday. Kinda kicking myself for not going Friday. The ride lines and treat lines seemed fine (but not walk on), but the walkways, parade, and hub were really crowded at times. I was pretty surprised at how crowded the parade was, 20 minutes before in Adventure Land we almost could not find a spot we were allowed to stay in at all. We did get some pixie dust when a very sweet older couple let my kids sit in front of them to be able to see. My DS and DBiL actually gave up and went and did something else.

I'm not sure I would do a sold out party again. But I had small children (3.5 and 5.5), so that may have colored my opinion. They did love the candy
