OK...MNSSHP happens at Magic Kingdom correct? Is there is additional cost to get into this park besides the MNSSHP tickets?

32.00 seems cheap for an event that takes place from 7pm to 12am. I must admit I'm looking for a quick answer...I didn't do any research on this yet.

No, I think the ticket is your admission to the park and the party. In other words, you can go to the MK that night w/o a 'regular' ticket or using up a day on a hopper.

Thta's right- and you can actually arrive earlier then it says on the ticket and they'll let you in- We got there at 4:30 last year and they let us through!

So, you can use a regular day ticket and MNSSHP ticket too? Hmmm...I thought it was a special thing in Halloween with MNSSHP tickets. I had no idea everyone was allowed. So it's really crowded on Halloween Day huh?

Park hopper tickets, Ultimate Hopper, etc. will not get you into the park for MNSSHP. You must buy the MNSSHP ticket for the night you wish to go, that is the only pass that will get you in. This can sell out, so if you want to go, check your dates and buy early. Hope this helps.

OK, another stupid question. What about the people who are already in the parks at 7pm? Does MK kick them out or do they get to stay?

The park closes early that day, seems like 4:00, 5:00 or 6:00. We went in 1999, I don't remember exactly, but they do close early, get everyone out & then re-open.

We also were there in 1999! It was unbelievably crowded for about 1 hour. I hated it and was ready to leave. But after an hour, the place emptied out! There were CM's begging people to come on their rides because they were empty. Big rides, too! We were able to ride anything we wanted for as long as we wanted. Definitely worth it!

CM's begging???? That's all the ammo I need! We are definitely there!

Do you find that it's easier to get to Mickey...or do you see a lot of more Mickey during events like these?? Or do we still have to trek over to the Judge's Tent?

Tigger, and Piglet to ourselves for about 20 min by the entrance to MK, I think opposite the firehouse... They were all dressed in costume. By the last few hours of the party, we were able to ride things with little or no wait time. This was in 2003. Go for it! It was definetly worth the $, especially since we didn't have to pay for DD1!

Oh it is so great! And so worth the money!

We went to 2 halloween parties last year! There is trick or treating in the park a special parade, special fireworks, and lots of characters. Except the characters are dressed up too...piglet is a flower etc.

It is so fun, you wont regret it.

There is a great thread over on the theme park planning and strategy board in regards to MNSSHP. It is tacked to the top of the page and has all sorts of great info!!

While ordering another MNSSHP ticket two nights ago, I asked the CM what the official policy was regarding entering MK before 7pm on MNSSHP nights with only the party ticket. My in-laws are joining my family on the 26th for the MNSSHP and dinner at LTT at 5:30. They have purchased the party tickets, but do not want to us a park hopper that day just to go to dinner at 5:30. After reading many postings on this board about being allowed in as early as 4pm with the party ticket on previous years, I wanted to get the official policy that will be used by CMs this year. (I don't think having my in-laws wait for an hour and half outside the gates, while we eat dinner, will help family relations

So, after waiting for close to 15 minutes on hold, the CM told me that she spoke with her boss, who verfied that MNSSHP ticket holders will be allowed into MK starting at 4pm on the night of their party. I was relieved to get this straight from Disney, as I was picturing my in-laws being turned away at the gate and told to return at 7pm.

Excellent deal in my opinion: 8 hours in the park, plus all of the party perks for $30+

Did they say anything about having to have your tickets rechecked when they close the park down at 6 or so to get ready for the park? I wouldn't want to be kicked out again...I have no problem showing a ticket stub.

When you enter the park and show your MNSSHP ticket, they will give you a wrist band to wear- that is how they identify you and know not to kick you out. What will happen is they will corral all MNSSHP goers to one area of the park for about an hour around 6. Last year they sent us to Tomorrowland. This is a great time to get your complimentary picture taken (we had ours taken where the ExtraTerrorestrial ride was) and you can rides the rides in Tomorrowland. they hvae a show going on too while you wait.
