MNSSHP Page Kit Swap - Due Jan 15th - Sign-ups - CLOSED

Hi all,

So sorry I'm late posting this up, remembered this morning I was expecting a call from the phone company at 10, they never bothered to ring

Right, swap details. First of all we are welcoming newbies in this swap, I have done a few swaps but never a page kit swap before so it's a new thing for me too. The due date is January 15th. This will be a small group page kit swap. Six people per group with the following topics:

1. Hallowishes
2. Boo-to-You Parade
3. Trick or Treat!!!
4. Dance Parties, Headless Horseman OR General MNSSHP
5. Costumes
6. Meeting Villains

The exception to this is the Disneyland groups as MNSSHP doesn't happen there. Those groups will still be 6 person groups but you can choose your own topic, let me know what you want to do when you sign up.

The kits will each contain 4 items: a topper, photo mat or frame, journalling box and another element of your choice (e.g. tag, library pocket & tag, file folder, paper piecing.) Let me know what your extra item will be when you sign up.

Please can you email me with your group number (or numbers), DISname, Real Name, Address, Telephone Number and email address? My email address is emappeal at hotmail dot com, put DIS Swap or something similar in the subject or it will get lost in my junk mail. Remember you will be posting items to MyLittlePiglet, not to me (for convenience and costs sake) so it will be her address you receive when signups are complete, not mine.

NB. Those of you who wanted to join in on the interest thread and gave specifics have been added to groups immediately. Please post to confirm you still want to be involved and that you have been put with the right topic. Remember I still need to know what your 4th items will be or (for Disneyland) what your topic AND 4th items will be.

I will add new groups as and when neccessary.

Could I have Group 2 Hallowishes, please? I will do slide mounts for my extra item.

If another group opens up with Boo To You Parade or Trick or Treat, I would like that. If there are any other themes, such as special shows or surprises / happenings (like the headless horseman) which go on during MNSSHP, I would sign up for that, too.

If not, I will do Meeting the Villains for Group 1 - with a Tag for the extra item.

Just wondering if you had had time to read my previous post or if you decided if you were adding more groups? I had requested Meeting the Villains for another group, if more groups weren't going to open up. If more groups are opening up, I would still like the Boo to You Parade or Trick or Treat.

My theme is Mickey's Halloween Treat (I think that is the theme I am seeing at DL site). It would work even if it isn't the theme. I will probably do a file folder and tag.

At the moment there hasn't been enough interest to warrent opening a 4th group. I'll put you in group 3 for Villains though along with Hallowishes in 2. Let me know if that's ok.

No one wants to do Dance Parties yet - would anyone be interested if I changed that option to the Headless Horseman for any/all of the groups? If not I'll leave it open until Friday and then reduce the groups down to 5 people for groups 1 and 2. We only have 3 in group 3 at the moment and 2 in Disneyland. No one else wanting to sign up?

I would do Headless Horseman for a group. I was thinking of that as one theme. If not, I will stay with the Villains.

It's been 2 to 3 years since I've been to MNSSHP so maybe the Dnace Parties are new, or maybe I just didn't go to that area any of the times I've been to the party but I don't remember that being a part of the MNSSHP. That's why I didn't sign up for that.

The dance parties were a thing last year, that was my first MNSSHP so I have no idea if they're new or not. YodasMom - do you want me to put you in group 1 for Headless Horseman? If so do you still want to be in the other groups? It's up to you

Yes, if it's OK, I would like to do Headless Horseman for Group 1 with my extra item being a tag.

I will keep my Group 2 choice, but not Group 3.

Maybe instead of Dance Parties we could do just a general "MNSSHP"? I would do something along those lines in addition to my other selection. Just an idea, but I'll leave it up to you since I'm still somewhat new to all of this!

Sounds good to me! hiclarke, did you want to be added to group 2 as the final person, doing a general MNSSHP theme? Looks like group 3 might not happen right now as there's just two of us in there at the moment!!
