MNSSHP-other parks?

Hi all,
We're planning WDW for a few days before our cruise in Sept and I've learned that it will be the 1st week of the Halloween hard ticket parties while we are there.
It would be a Friday night party for our stay.
My kids couldn't possibly stay up until 12:00, 9:00 maybe 10 is their limit.
So, I'm wondering if we should just do MK that morning and park hop that afternoon instead and skip the party?

How crowded will the other parks be if I plan this in September.

We go to DL every year, so I think we will do MNSSHP there in a couple years...

What do you all think? I really want to maximize our rides/experiences of things we can't do at DL

How crowded will the other parks be if I plan this in September.

Our trip is the same week, though we're leaving that Thursday. Crowd levels (via Touring Plans) are all at 1 or 2 pretty much every day that week while we're there for all the parks.
