We will be at WDW for a week in October. We can go on one of the cheaper nights or we can pay the extra and go on Halloween night.

I am wondering if you are getting more candy etc... on Halloween night since the price is higher.

Thanks for your insight!!:thumbsup2

We went on 10/31/06 and had a blast. It was the perfect way to spend Halloween! I don't know if we got extra candy because it was Halloween but by evening's end the CM were dumping candy into our DDs' bags. Unfortunately our girls are older and it's harder to take them out of school for vacation because they miss so much.

I would expect the experience to be very similar. I would not expect "more candy". The price is higher because more people want to go on Halloween.

If going on the day itself is important to you, then it's important to you, and the extra cost might be worth it. If that's not important to you, why pay extra?

Does anyone know if I also need a ticket to MK to go to this party or does my MNSSHP ticket get me in by itself? I would rather do early entry to another park on my MNSSHP day and just pop over to the party that same night but don't want to find out that I already burned my days single day ticket.
Starts at 7:00...can you get in earlier?

I wondered the same thing last year and we are very glad we went on the 31st. Longest wait we had was 10 minutes, most were walk ons. Got TONS of candy and our family of 4 (7 yo & 14yo) will never forget it!

Loved it!

We went on the 31st and got tons of candy and I do believe they were trying to get rid of it. But I wouldn't use this as the determining factor. My sister and I joked that we spent thousands to go to Disney to collect candy we could have bought at COSTCO for $20.
