MNSSHP: How did it go for non-ticket people?

Just wondering how CMs got out the non-party goers. This is our first MNSSHP and we saw so many posts from people worrying about getting non-ticket people out. Did they let them stay this year? Or did they make them leave?
Thanks for any information.
:cheer2:

We were at the 9/15 party, and I was really watching for this. I knew that Disney had PROMISED people in phone calls that they were going to have CMs checking for bracelets at everything, not just the rides....They even said at the parks that you would not even be able to buy a soda without being checked for a wristband. I was skeptical because I didn't think that Disney would have all this extra manpower, and was just telling people what they wanted to hear.

But that night, and I was keeping a close eye on this, there were CMs EVERYWHERE! At the entrances to all the lands, in the central hubs, in the counter service restaraunts, all along the streets. There were the orange CM t shirts everywhere!! At several locations I had to show them my wristband. I talked with one, and said I was really happy to see all of them there, and they just said that they were showing people out that didn't have the wristbands. I never saw anyone walking around that didn't have a wristband on, and I was checking. I have heard some say that there would be a big sweep of the park, but I never saw this...I just saw them checking at every location that entered into anywhere....LOL

I was very happy to see these precautions being taken, especially with all the concerns and complaints that Disney received. The party was great, and we had a great time.

we have never been to a disney hard ticket event before but we did attend the 9/15 mnsshp and we worried about non payers as well but in our opinion disney handled it very well, we arrived at mk about 6:30 and they had main street split in half pretty much with lots of cms with party goers entering the park on 1 half and non attenders leaving on the other, have to say we thought it wasnt much of a problem

That's good that they are making sure that nobody is trying to sneak through and past. Though, I've heard someone say they say a eprson without a wristband on.

i also worried about this. We went on the 22nd. We were getting on a ride and the pople ahead of us were turned away at the ride b/c they did not have a wrist band. I was surprised. After that everyone I saw had one on. We had such a blast. My son had so much fun at the dance party. You get a second photopass card esp for that night and for the event the pictures are half off. We had dinner at Liberty tree tavern and the characters were in their costumes. Fun FUn FUn... :thumbsup2

Disney did a great job. :thumbsup2

It really is good to see that Disney did/does have a system in place to deal with the non-wristbanded folks at the parties. There were so many threads regarding this that I'm glad some of you have posted how well it all went. Here's hoping they keep up the good work!!

We were there 9/22 and I kept an eye on the wrist band situation. Saw a few people wandering around without them untill about 7:30ish...but at the fireworks and parade didnt see anyone without a wristband. While having dinner at 6:15ish heard a woman asking about the bands..she seemed confused thnking it was like the EMH..but a CM explained it to her. I did see one family turned away from a candy line at about 7:15..and a tween aged girl in the group was making it known she was not happy they were not staying. I was pleased overall with the way things were handled...CMs were checking for bands everywhere.

We were in FL at 7pm on 9/22. The characters came out just before 7pm and I saw MANY guests without wristbands getting their pictures taken with Malicifant, Cruella de Ville ect... But as I said, it was in Fantasyland and before 7pm. There was an announcement made over the park loudspeakers but honestly, I can see that people were paying no attention. I do have to say that later in the evening, I didn't see anyone without a wristband and when we were entering the Mad Hatter Treat Trail, there was a CM at the entrance asking to see everyone's wristband before being allowed to enter to trick or treat.
