Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party for 2008, 7:00pm - 12:00am
November 10, 11, 14, 16, 20, 21, 30, 2008
December 2, 4, 5, 7, 9, 11, 12, 14, 16, 18, 19, 2008

I hate to order them (planning on 2 nights) and then see them @ a discount later...anyone know when the DVC discount dates are announced/sale date?

last year's were 9/14 (friday), 10/4 (tuesday), 10/16 (tuesday), 10/21 (sunday), 10/23 (tuesday), and 11/2 (friday).

Last year the DVC/Passholder discounted tickets when on sale the same day as the regular advanced purchase tickets. The DVC/Passholder discount was only $3 more than the advanced purchase price.

They have to be purchased in advanced thru MS.

I've seen the dates on another site, but haven't posted them as they are not yet official.

How do DVC members find out which dates are for our discounts????

They will be posted on the DVC Member site and I'm sure someone will post them here once they are announced. Based on prior years, the official dates and any discounted dates should be known by mid April and on sale in May.

not sure where they originally came from, saw them on another thread; then did a search & 2 other different sites confirmed...they seem to be pretty much the same days of week as past years from what i can gather.

jmho, the dates should be released 6 months prior to allow peeps to book ADRs ala Candlelight Procession, etc.

Thanks for the information. We usually tow our RV down to Ft. Wilderness sometime during the last couple of weeks of October, and usually go to the Halloween party during that time. If the price of fuel doesn't climb to $10/gallon, we are planning on staying at the Fort again. Just want to make sure we hit a time the "party" is going on.

I feel for you. Gas off I 75 in Ohio is going for $3.45!

I'm thrilled that there will be 2 parties when I go in September!

our area took a nearly 20 cent a gallon jump today , just imagine when they switch over to the reformulated summer fuel

don't even want to think how many MPG an RV gets, yikes

Actually, I have a 39' 5th wheel trailer that I pull with a diesel truck. I just filled up this morning here in NC and paid $3.99/gallon. Gas is around $3.20.

When I pull the trailer from Raleigh NC to WDW, I ususally have to stop and fill up 2 times on the trip down, and 2 times on the way back.

But as long as I can swing it, we will use the RV in Oct. and DVC in Feb. Gotta have that change of scenery!

Just wait for the discounted dates to be announced - they never sell out until a lot closer to the actual party dates, so there's no need to worry. The dates closest to Halloween/Christmas sell out first, but those are never discounted anyway.

2007 Discounted Dates:
ANNUAL PASSHOLDER AND DVC MEMBER DISCOUNT FOR 11/15, 11/27, 12/11 AND 12/18.

I would assume for instance a Tuesday is less than a Thursday/sunday
