A MNSSHP date opened on 9/15, during our stay. Now I'm not sure whether we will do the party or not.

If we do attend the party, do we *need* costumes? Or do some people go in regular clothes??

Does anyone have a link with what time the activities (parade/fireworks) will be?

Does anyone remember when The Disney Store begins selling Halloween costumes, if I decide to buy some?

Thanks!

DD dressed up but we just did some Holloween theamed sweatshirt/hoodies.

Many people don't dress up but mant do go all out as well so you get a real goos mix.

Fireworks are always 9:15p

Parade is usually around 8:30p and 10:30p give or take 15 minutes.

We went last year in regular clothes and there were a lot of other people in regular clothes as well.

I would say it was pretty evenly mixed.

Glad to hear this! No way I was going to get DH into a costume! He already has serious, serious doubts about two adults doing this w/o any kids along as it is.
Thanks for the info.!

DH and I went without kids and there are a lot of people without costumes. We did simple themed costumes, I was a Care Bear and DH was the Crocodile Hunter--very easy things! Lots of people just wear Halloween t-shirts. This is a don't miss party and you will have a ball either way! We did tons of rides that night and they were all WALK ONS (1st week of Oct). Have fun with it!!!!!!!!

The adults in our group are going as local sports players. One is going to be a New England Patriot, one a Boston Red Sox player and the other is probably going to be a Boston Bruin.

We were looking for something easy, comfortable but still 'something'. Maybe some DH's would go for this idea?

What a terrific idea!!! Guess I shouldn't wear my Adam Vinitieri shirt though should I!!?? I was going to just buy a Halloween tee when I got to WDW but a sports shirt/hat could just do the trick!!!

I do not wear a costume. I usually just wear the previous year's MNSSHP T-shirt.

One year DH was Goofy and I got a Halloween Goofy shirt on clearence at the Disney Store so we kind of matched!

My older DD wants to be a witch this year and my younger DD is going to be Chirstmas Belle (her big sisters' costume from our first MNSSHP)

Here's the Christmas Belle costume below (at LTT dinner) on my older DD; this year it will be on the red-head:
