MNSSHP Dessert Party with Boo to You Parade viewing

I was just looking at WDW's official site for the Dessert Party and noticed it does not say anything about a reserved spot for the Boo to You Parade.

Is this new? I did not do the Desert Party last year, so maybe this is the standard now?

To us it's a big deal, the main reason we partake in the party is the reserved spot for the Fireworks and Parade. We like the deserts and savory items, but the reserved spots are the best perk!

Unfortunately this is new this year, the reserved parade viewing is not included with the dessert party.

It's not included, and we won't be buying it this trip. We did the dessert party solely for reserved parade seating in 2015, and it was great. A much better experience than our MVMCP fiasco in 2014. I can't believe they've taken out the parade viewing!

We will also not be buying the Desert party ticket this year. I wonder if they will make you pay for it as another added cost somehow somehow? Like eat at Tony's and get a reserved parade area.

That would be such a shame!

This is definitely a bummer because the parade viewing was the best part of the MNSSHP dessert party package. I've booked it again this year, but on the fence as to whether or not to keep it. I'm holding out to see if they actually do add a dining/parade viewing package because I would opt for that instead.

Anyone know how this year's MNSSHP dessert party pricing compares to the past years when it did include the reserved parade viewing? We did it in 2015 but I don't recall the cost. I believe its around $70 per adult this year, and I can't imagine that the table in Tomorrowland Terrace and those basic desserts are worth that cost. We had to stand along the railing just to see the fireworks so the reserved table for fireworks viewing isn't even a perk at all.
