We are just finalizing our plans to go this October - really looking forward to it. Just wondering if anyone else is going and if so, what costumes if any will you and your family be wearing?
We were thinking Hook for DH and Snow White for myself. We have an adorable grey mouse costume we could use for DS (1yr) as Ratatouille but it might be too hot - he was a very sweet Peter Pan last year - may do that again, or we could do a dwarf. DD still changes her mind daily as to which princess she would like to be. Wendy with Hook and Peter would be fun too.

We are attending MNSSHP this year. We have gone the past seven years and we always dress up-the first year we didn't because we hadn't realized that the grown ups dress up too! DUH!

Anyhoo...we have dressed as Jack & Sally, doctors (2 years we did that one), pirates (2 years did that one as well) and another year we did characters from Pocahontas. We wouldn't dream of going to the party without being in a costume. My only requirement is that the costume is light and airy so that we are not suffering and sweating-most times we are COOLER in our costumes than we would have been in our street clothes. I've seen folks do themed shirts, although we do that normally for our vacation days, so we do the costumes to make it special. pirate:
