I'm hoping someone can help me... :wave2:

We are seriously considering purchasing tickets for MNSSHP (me, DH & DS4.5), but I want to make sure we have costumes that go together! pirate: I already bought DS4.5 the Davey Jones costume from the Disney Store and have found the Captain Jack costume on Disney's website for DH. Now I'm looking for the Elizabeth Swann costume for myself - I DON'T want the dress, I want the one of her as A PIRATE. I've searched the internet and can't find anything. Any ideas where I can find one? :confused3

On a related note, does anyone have a Disney shopping code? I have the one for 15% off if you purchase $75, but the costume for DH is only $60. Thanks!!! :thumbsup2

Try the on-line store buycostumes.com; they have an elite female pirate captain costume that I think resembles Elizabeth's outfit from the second movie. It is very sexy with a fitted jacket and tight pants. DH wanted me to get it, but with 5 of us to get costumes for I could not pay the $124 for it. :p

We ended up all getting generic pirate costumes from a local store and I still dropped $276. :sad2:

My costume has a VERY short skirt. I am plannning on wearing a bathing suit bottom underneath. I am debating adding some extra fabric to lengthen the skirt. Anyone who has gone to MNSSHP before able to comment on short skirts on women? I don't want to feel uncomfortable in it. The top is not revealing in any way, just the length of the skirt. I am fairly tall and I think that is why it looks so short. I would not be uncomfortable to wear this to a regular halloween party, but not sure about Disney.

i know what you mean about the short skirt. I really what pants, but I don't want to spend the $124 and the other ones I have found with pants have half shirts, that I refuse to wear. I wish you could just buy pieces.

You could just search for the pieces and put it together. I know you can get the top on ebay, just search for Pirate Chemise, and I bet you could find the vest and pants too. The 3-corner hat and boots would probably be the toughest to find.

My wife and I will be attending the MNSSHP this year on 29/9 for the first time and we'd like to be in costume. Is there anywhere on propery you can get costumes or do we have to bring them with us???

This year will be out third year at MNSSHP. In terms of where to get cotumes... we have always brought out own.

This year our daughter will be getting hers that afternoon at the BBB.

As for the skirt issue, my wife has worn shorter skirted costumes both times and there have not been any issues. (Once Snow White, once Pirate)

I can't post pics yet unfortunately.
