MNSSHP Costume question?

We're thinking of doing a late Sep-early Oct trip and one of those days would have MNSSHP on it.

Now I'm thinking about the kids' costumes. One wants to be Peter Pan/Robin and the other wants to be Darth Maul/Darth Vader, which I'm fine with...

The problem I'm having is that I'm thinking these costumes might get really warm and scratchy in late September, especially if some of it is polyester.

Which brings me to the question... for those who did MNSSHP and wore a costume or your kids wore a costume, did you wear it the entire time? Was it hot under the costume? Did you/your kid have to take off your mask?

TIA.

Hi Oogieboogie,

It's funny, because my DH went as Oogie Boogie at last years MNSSHP. We went in the end of October and it was very hot. By half way through, we stashed the costumes in the lockers (we actually put them in there earlier,as we had gone to the park prior to the party starting).

As you can see, both of our costumes were very heavy. I would go with the plan to start the night with the costumes, and change later if need be. You never know the weather either, it may be cool enough to wear them all night.

It's very fun to dress up.
