Hi. We're eating at CP at 3:30pm on a MNSSHP night. Would it be ok to dress up for dinner in costume? That would be cute to get pics dressed up with the characters.. do the characters dress up? Does anyone else, or has anyone?
Why not ?? Half the fun is being in the middle of it all! We're going to CRT on MNSSHP night and our DD4 is going as Belle....she'll be in costume for dinner, then onto the party!!
Yes, that's the exact scenario we had (well our ADR was actually at 4:00 at CRT) but we had our Halloween shirts on. Most of the people in CRT seemed to be headed to the party -- there were entire families decked out in full Halloween regalia.
We had CP ressies for dinner the night of our MNSSHP (not Halloween night but the night before) in 2007. DH and I did not dress up for the party (we wore Halloween shirts) but both my kiddos were in full costume. As for the rest of the people in the restaurant....if I remember right it was a mix. Seemed like anyone who was going to dress up anyway was and others weren't. If you haven't been before for this event, the entire MK has a Halloween feel to it. They go all out on decorating the park and I don't think you would feel out of place. That being said it can get crowded in there so if your costume is bulky, it might be a little uncomfortable squeezing yourself through the buffet line!!
thanks for the advice, i think i'll go for it. hopefully DH will dress up w/ me. Last year he waited til 7 b/c it was too hot for him. I think i'll wear my costume as my clothes so i'm not double layering.
