Can I book FPs with a MNSSHP ticket?
And if so, how?
(I know we can come in at 4 pm, the park closes at 7- just trying to squeeze in a couple desirable rides).
Thank you!!

Just link your MNSSHP tickets to your MDE account and you should be able to book FP+ from 3:30pm to 6:30pm. You cannot enter the park on the ticket until 4pm but the last FP+ available for party nights ends at 6:30pm. I did this for someone in our group who does not have a regular ticket for that day.

Hi,
Ok I'm on MDE and though my party tickets are linked, when I click on the MNSSHP date I believe the computer/MDE thinks I'm trying to use my REGULAR park ticket FPs.

Not sure how to handle this or what to do different.

Ok I know it doesn't recognize the MNSSHP ticket, bc my FP selections were all given to me in the am hours.
This is frustrating.

What are you trying to do exactly? You can't book a separate set of Fastpasses on a party ticket, if you have a MYW ticket already.

I just did this for my parents. They only have a mnsshp ticket no mywt. I linked the mnsshp ticket and when I went to choose fast pass it did give me times for the mornings. I just moved things around to be sure I picked FP+ start times at 3:30, 4:30 and 5:30.

You can book with MNSSHP tickets, but the system will still allow you to book them in the morning. Since you won't be able to get in until 4:00p, you need to make them for after that. If you have FPs already scheduled for that same day using other tickets, you cannot get more for that day. You may find the green link in my signature helpful.

We went to a MNSSHP last October. That was the only Disney event we did on that trip; no regular park visits. I didn't have any other tickets linked to my MDE account, just the party tickets. When trying to make FP reservations 30 days in advance, the website kept assigning them for morning/early afternoon. You would THINK they would recognize my tickets didn't allow entry that early. After a few attempts, I just accepted what they assigned, then changed them to later times. For some reason, it was easier to change the assigned times rather than get them for the appropriate times in the first place. :confused3

P.S. I was a bit worried about our 330-430 BTMRR FP. But we got to the MK entrance about 335, and they started admitting party guests at 345. We got our wristbands, made a beeline to BTMRR, and pretty much walked right on. We may have actually finished the ride before we were officially allowed to be there. :cool1:

Thank you all so much.

I will try again and book for the later part of the afternoon.

My other issue is that I'm pretty sure (when choosing FP), MDE is recognizing my MNSSHP day as a regular park day, and applying my linked regular park ticket to the party day- not allowing me to book FP for my regular ticket on the following Saturday.

For our trip, I have 2 tickets- one for the party, one regular non-mk ticket (for HS).

Does that make sense? Kind of confusing but I don't know how to explain it better.

I have been told that MDE doesn't recognize differences in ticket media (i.e., park tickets vs. hard ticketed events), just the number of days that you have tickets for. SO... if you have a 4 day ticket, you can make 4 sets of FP+ reservations. If you have a 4 day ticket and MNSSHP, you can make 5 sets of FP+... but no more than one set a day. Supposedly, as long as you don't use your park ticket on a party day but just your party ticket, you should be fine. But that's only what I have been told- I have no personal experience with which to back it up.

In another thread someone said you have to assign the party tickets to different names - use your middle name. Then you can make separate Fast Passes for that phantom person and it's tied to your physical MNSSHP ticket. I, however, am too afraid to try it since I've already got my Fast Passes selected. :) Good luck to you!

How bout you try making fast pass selections for the non party days first. That way when it comes time to book the party day it will see that you used all your regular days and it should use the mnsshp ticket.

Just a theory I have.

Sheilaheartsdisney,
Great idea-I tried that.
But when I go to select the party day, it just switches my one ticketed day.

I may have to go to a kiosk when I first get to the park to try and score some FPs. If I could get 2 in I would be happy.
