Just passed the 60 day mark for our next trip, 7 nights at BLT. In addition to the online check-in, FPs selected, DME booked (hopefully, the airline has finished "tweaking' the flight schedule) and MemoryMaker ordered. We originally booked just for MNSSHP but were suprised to learn F & W is also going on - happy coincidence. Additionally, we will be continuing the Cupcake Crawl we started on our last visit.
Planned schedule looks like this:
Day 1 - Arrival - Travelling from western Canada, we should be arriving around 7:00 PM. Our arrival tradition is to get settled in, late dinner at The Contempo and then catch Wishes from the TOW lounge or in front of the lobby before returning to the room for a good night's sleep.
Day 2 - Animal Kingdom - Character breakfast at Tusker House and then it's off for a day of Safari ride, Festival of the Lion King (check out the new theatre) and Expedition Everest. Dinner will be at the Yak & Yeti Express (love the Beef Lo Mein!).
Day 3 - Hollywood Studios - This is where we split up our FPs. I'll be heading to Star Tours, Rock 'n' Rollercoaster & the Tower of Terror while Bubbles checks out MuppetVision 3D, Voyage of the Little Mermaid and the Great Movie Ride (I'll try and reload my FP to join her on the GMR). At some point we want to get to Starring Rolls for cupcakes as we missed them last time - who knew they closed at 4:00 PM. Dinner plans are for the 50's Prime Time Cafe, the menu there is so good!
Day 4 - MK & MNSSHP - Costumes are set, I'll be going as a privateer (complete with Letter of Marque so it's all nice and legal) and Bubbles has a night fairy costume she is still working on. We do have some FPs for 7DMT, HM and Pirates... all between 3:00 and 7:00 PM. We're planning on going back to all of them after sundown, as well. We're having dinner at CRT and being big fans of Halloween, in general, are really looking forward to the party!
Day 5 - Epcot - Spaceship Earth, the Seas with Nemo & friends and Soarin' and well wandering around the world, checking out the Food & Wine exhibits. It will be Via Napoli for dinner, we ate there for the first time, last trip, and the experience was outstanding!
Day 6 - Downtown Disney - Got to get the shopping on! Well be hitting up Wolfgang Puck's Express for lunch and then we're going to check out the food trucks for dinner.
Day 7 - MK - Our last day has us back in the MK. FPs are for Splash Mountain, BTMR, a Jungle Cruise and I'll try and reload for Spac Mountain (to complete the MK Mountain Trilogy). Dinner is at BOG and we are capping off the night with the Tomorrowland Terrace dessert Fireworks Party. Should be a fantastic way to finish the last night!
Day 8 - Departure - Breakfast at Kona Cafe (Mmmmm... Tonga Toast!) and then the saddest ride in WDW... the DME back to MCO!
As you can see from the counter below, we do have another trip booked so we'll have something to help alleviate the returning post-WDW slump. We're celebrating our 30th Anniversary with a 5 night resort stay, followed by a 7 night cruise, followed by another 5 night resort stay, in Jan 2015. Really looking forward to that! Cheers!
