MNSSHP 2012 pins - selling on Ebay??

How can someone be selling the pins from the MNSSHP if the parties for 2012 don't start until September 11?

It's probably a pre-sale. eBay allows for items to be listed for pre-sale as long as they will be available within the next 30-days.

It should be a pre-sale only. If they actually have the pins in hand I'd say they are scrappers. You could always ask the seller and see what they say.

If it's not a pre-sale definitely ask. Be nice about it because if a seller thinks you might be a problem, they might block you (I read about it all the time on Seller Central). If it doesn't say pre-sale, it could be someone who is new to selling who doesn't know they have to list it as a pre-sale. So, a friendly question should get you the answer you want. If it's an LE pre-sale, keep in mind there is no guarantee they will be able to get the pin they are advertising. I see that happen a lot.

A long time ago when I was not so savvy about pins, I bought a complete set of lanyard pins that were brand new to me (in terms of I've never seen them before), so I bought them really fast. Turns out they were lanyard pins that were about to be released but hadn't been yet, and they were scrappers.

are they the actual party pins with the year on them? because i've seen some halloween pins for sale that the description says 2012, but they're the same halloween pins i've seen every year (the candy corn with the ears, the ghost minnie and mickey, etc)

just curious bc i haven't seen any on ebay that look like they are party specific pins....

speaking of how many diff kinds are there usually of the party specific we are going for 1st time and I want to get them!!
