was wondering when you think they will post the dates for the 2004 mnsshp? Also what do you think the chances are that they will have a Nov. 1 night? Can't leave until nov 1....I know this is a Monday, so probably not. We'd love to be the for a MNSSHP but always missed it due to the infamous jersey week dates.:p

Last year the dates came out toward the end of April for both MNSSHP and MVMCP.

I think you answered your own question about a Nov 1st night and MNSSHP. Particularly since it is on a Monday- I doubt they would have another night after Halloween. Seems the Oct 31st party really is the last night.

I can't remember if park admission is required for the party any help would be great. Thanks

You have to buy a separate ticket to attend the party (about $120 for our family of four). We went in '02 and '03 and it was worth the cost.

Just wanted to add - that although MNSSHP is a separate ticket, we were able to get into the park after 4PM on the days of the party. That gives you 3 "free" hours before the party starts.

We are planning on going Sat Oct 16th, it will be our first time, DD11 is already been planning her costume...

From what I have read, I am hoping ticket information will be available in April. Since we are planning on a Sat and based on the dates the last few years we should be ok with the 16th, if not then we will probably change our dates so we can go.

It is my understanding that you only need the MNSSHP ticket and they usually let you in around 4pm

In 2002, we got into the MK with our regular ticket whenever (3, 4, 5 and got a wristband with proof of the party ticket), BUT at 6:00 p.m. they started to clear out the park for closing, and if you had a wristband on you were ushered into Tomorrowland until the park was cleared out and around 6:40 you were allowed out of Tomorrowland. They did the same thing in 2003 for the MVMCP.

Best Bet... get a PS for around 4:45-5:30 and wait it out in a restaurant.

Last years MNSSHP dates were: October 3rd (Friday), 5th (Sunday), 10th (Friday), 14th (Tuesday), 16th (Thursday), 19th (Sunday), 24th (Friday), 26th (Sunday), 30th (Thursday) and 31st (Friday.) So I would say a safe bet on planning a day for this year would be a Friday or Sunday. I don't think they have it on Saturday's.

I recently saw the dates posted on the employee website. I won't post them because they have not been released yet to the public, but I can say that the pattern looks similar to last years and I don't remember seeing a Nov. 1 date available. I would look again, but came across them by accident and not sure exactly what section I saw them in. I was checking for myself and saw that it was available for Sunday the 24th, which I wanted. Didn't memorize the rest--but do remember that the week of colombus day seemed a little different than the other weeks. Sorry I can't post more and am sure what I saw still may have been tentative. But, as always, if you want the 31st, call early, because that one always sells out fast.

On a side note to MNSSHP did you happen to notice when or if the 999 Happy Haunts ball will be held?

Dates should come out by the end of next month.

MNSSHP aren't held on Saturday nights. That's a too big of night at MK to close early for a party.

Here's ticket prices from LAST year.

TICKETS.... prices are as follows:
At the Gate... Adult... $32.95 Children (3-9) $27.95

In Advance...Adult... $29.95 Children (3-9) $24.95

to the OP, I took another look and it looks like there might be one for Nov. 1. According to what I was looking at it shows 31, 0 (then I can't see the number after 0, so maybe there is a Nov. date, just not sure of the number) so keep you fingers crossed.

SWAMP fox: I did notice that there is not a night scheduled for Oct. 30, so maybe that night is being held for the HHB.:smooth:

UPDATE: HHB will NOT be Oct. 30.

Here's hoping the Friday before Columbus Day will be a given for MNSSHP, because it makes my itinerary work out so well! Um, I think!! Don't like to get too smug about these things.

But yep, looks like last year's calendar did not have a Sun. MNSSHP at all, but a Tuesday.

We were there in 2002 and went to the MNSSHP on Friday, November 1st. This was our arrival day. It was wonderful because we didn't have to use any of our hoppers just our MNSSHP tickets.....which are alot cheaper than if we brought a full day theme park ticket. I have older kids and while the parade was going on, my son did Splash Mtn 4 times in a row and we all did Space mountain 6 times in a row. (I was alittle off balance after that)

I'm arriving on Saturday, Oct 30 this year. I was hoping to go to a MNSSHP party on Saturday 10/30 instead to avoid the crowds on 10/31 .....but doesn't look like they have parties on Saturdays.:(

jtjarvis, that looks good unless the dates change.

Sorry, no Oct. 30 listed....I'm assuming that will be the happy haunts ball this year.

I'm also wondering about 10 - 3. That's right in the middle of our vacation, and it would work out GREAT for us if there's one held that night!

Although I would LOVE a November 1 party for my upcoming vacation, I kind of doubt it because November 1 is a Monday and I just looked back on MNSSHP dates as far back as 2001 and no party ever fell on a Monday, Wednesday (except Halloween night) or Saturday. Of course, Disney could change and do things differently this year.

I wonder what they'll do in 2009 when Halloween falls on a Saturday! They lucked out this year because of leap year and Halloween won't fall on Saturday! The last time Halloween fell on a Saturday was 1998...did they have MNSSHP back then; I know they had one in 1999. Does anyone know when they first started throwing them?

The one year that they had a party on November 1, it was a Friday night.

I also noticed that they've increased the number of parties each year. 2001 had only 5, 2002 had 7 and 2003 had 10! I guess it's a popular event!

n2mm - Sorry to bother you - do you know if I can plan on a MNSSHP on Friday, Oct 1st? This might be our only night in Oct - the rest of our trip is scheduled for Sept - Thanks!!! :bounce: :Pinkbounc
