The wife is pestering me to post a question of "How much CANDY do you REALLY get???"

Shes wanting to hear from those out there who tried to get LOTS of candy.
How much did you score on the candy scale?

We only went to about half the trick-or-treat areas, and DH and I each got half a bag of candy. Had we hit the other half, we would have had a full bag each.

I got a full bag. The later it is the more you get. lol As the crowds thin out, it seems they either let you dig in yourself or hand you a pile. I was just out looking for Skittles!!

When we went, we got a bunch of candy. I think overall it was over 3 bags full. It took us a while to actually eat all of it and some of it may have been taken to work where the food scavengers devoured it instantly.

We were at the 9/15 party and the 3 of us got about 1/3 of a bag of candy each. We might have had more if it wasn't raining and if we covered more T or T stations. We never made it to Adventureland and Frontierland.

At the parties we've been to we've gotten a ton of candy! And, they were even passing candy out to people as they were leaving the party.

Make sure you pack your toothbrush!

We had 3 bags and when we combined them we had a very stuffed single bag. Yes we could have gotten more but we didn't really want more. Also, as we left they had a Treat Trough filled with Snickers for you to help yourselves to. The selection was varied.

I'll post my pics later- just got back tonight. We went to the 9/15 party and had a blast (despite the rain!).

We both got FULL bags- the best place to go was the Adventureland character meet area (door to the right of Aloha Isle). Once inside there was a character meet and treat area to the left, just candy to the right. You went past about three candy stations within the building- many times two people at each station would give us candy! They had the Adventureland type characters there- Tarzan, Rafiki, Jungle Book, etc.

The other was the Alice in Wonderland path from Toontown to Tomorrowland. The people in front of the Carousel of Progress were giving out large handfuls as well. We found that it really did depend on the CM. Some would give you HUGE handfuls and others would give you 2 pieces no matter what time of the night it was :confused3

After we ate a little of the candy during our stay, it was still about 8 lbs. of candy and we didn't even hit a some of the trick or treat places. The reason I know is because we had 2 huge ziploc bags of candy, and had to move one bag from one to another at the airline check in counter last year because our bag was overweight, and it lightened it 4 lbs. Each bag was approximately the same in weight.

So it's a lot of candy! Some stations give out more than others.

We haven't been this year yet, but last year we had about a half of bag each when we left. We didn't take anymore although it was offerered as we left. I think that a half of a bag of the MNSSHP bag, was easily over a bag of candy you would buy to hand out to kids! It was good candy too. It lasted us through our vacation and for months when we got home. Obviously, we are not candyaholics!! It was awesome! If you fill the bag they give you, I'd bet that it is 3 bags worth of candy from the store. LOTS!!! :cool1:
