At least WCCO had an interview with a MAC spokesman about NWA. They were talking about how NWA was going to cut its schedule and "most likely have to give up some gates while in CH 11"
The spokesman came right out and said that MAC is ready to offer those gates to other airlines and he said, " We'd love to see a Jet Blue and a Southwest operate out of MSP when they feel the time is right."
Talk about an open invitation! Yeah! I'm sure it won't happen overnight, but a little more competition up here is definitely needed.
