Cooking MMF Phineas and Ferb cake!

Check out the cake I made for DS with the MMF recipe. It was so easy and takes pretty yummy

My first time working with or making fondant..really xcited for DS's party! Anyone else have a pic of a fondant cake they make?

I love it! I have never done work with fondant but you did an amnzing job with the decor on that cake.

Thanks so much.. A long time.. My husband and I joked about how long it took and how much I could make making cakes... not much if they all took me as long as this one.. I started at 10:30am and finished at like 3:30pm...lol but DS was napping some of the time, and I was enjoying making it. I had the fondant made the night before...

Oh, WOW! That's amazing! I've never worked with fondant, but I'll have to try. DD is always asking for some character cake, and I love the 3D of yours! This is last year's, but it's flat:

Cool thats super cute. You should for sure try the fondant, you must be very creative to make that from frosting. The marshmellow recipe is so easy and yummy, and easy to work with.... If you try it be sure to post~

WOW, that is awesome! I can't believe that's the first time you worked with fondant. Totally puts the Star Wars bday cake I made for my DH out of fondant to shame. Lol.

I thought I had a BRILLIANT idea and rolled the fondant out in between pieces of wax paper to cut back on the mess. But then I had all these little creases in my fondant that I couldn't smooth out.

My SIL loves cake decorating (and is great at it) but she's only done normal frosting that she pipes on. I've been begging her to try fondant because she's so creative, I think she'll make some awesome cakes with it. Here's DD's birthday cake that she made:

Thanks so much.. It was alot of fun, and I will def. do it again. That cake and cupcakes is/are amazzzzing.. Its so cute! I was thinking a animal cake with fondant would be cute the other day when I was putting dishes away...lol the female mind, always thinking!! The different animal print on each tier would be so cute. Tell her I say she needs to do fondant. Those Lions are adorable. She definitely is super creative! Se could totally sell those! Thanks for sharing the picture! I made two batches one with the name brand marshmellows and one with Meijer brand. I couldn't tell the difference other than the Meijer ones didnt have blue dye in them so they were less bright white, which doesnt matter if your using food coloring!

Oh and I wanted to tell you Im pregnant and if this one was a girl we were going to use the name Violet. So cute! DS3 sometimes still says Violet is in my belly. LOL

Thanks! I got that reaction quite a bit for that cake. It is so much fun. I've inherited a lot of it from my mom I think. I'm to the point now where its becoming a business. I have 2-3 cakes per week to work on. It really is SOOO much fun.

Those are GREAT! The angry birds one is really cool...although I know nothing about them, but I've heard they are REALLY popular.
