Well, nothing big going on here today. Back at work, it's cold and very windy. I'll check in later!

Hi Bev. Thank you for the great pictures of you and your family. I've made a special place for my MM cards above the kitchen sink so I can look at my MM friends frequently if there's a picture included . Bundle up! It's very cold here too. 10 degrees right now and clear. We have snow in the forecast for Friday and Saturday, then the rain will return on Sunday

Did anyone watch Biggest Loser all the way? I fast forwarded through most of the weigh in's until Rebecca and the final 3. Did they say anything about Rebecca and Daniel? Are they still together? Why do I care? I'm a sucker for a love story. We'll look that amazing some day! We just won't do it in a matter of 3 months.

I 100% agree! We don't have to do this quickly - just ONCE! And then keep it up on Step 2 or 3.

I'll be tested today at my Christmas luncheon with a good friend I made when I sold her house. We celebrate Christmas and our birthdays together. She's not into health food and she's skinny so pray for me, lol! It's really cold, but no rain yet so it should be an ok day to walk around historic Folsom. They decorate the middle so cute with an old carraige, etc. and all the lightposts with wreaths. There's one store that's all Christmas - that's where we're going first! I have my 11-20's in my purse.

The Pumpkin Pie with Praline Crust I posted and Jocelyn put in the thread for me turned out so well for Thanksgiving. I wanted to mention it again because it was really, really good 1 - 2 days later kept in the fridge. It got better with age. I also put the pumpkin pie syrup from DaVinci in the whipping cream. Amazing! Tom raved about the pie. It's 6 carbs per slice.

I like how you think! If you only knew how controlling she is, LOL! We love to decorate our homes and that is the main thing we have in common. I just keep my mouth shut about anything on a deeper level

I found my answer. The San Francisco Examiner interviewed Rebecca and she said she's using some of her money to move out with Daniel. Kinda quick!

Hi, Lisa. Thank you for checking in and pulling me back to my friends! I got home from yet another holiday party last night at about 10:00 and sat down with some tea and watched BL. Daniel proposed to Rebecca on the show! It was very cute!

Well, 7 hours done and another 7 to go! Just had some turkey rollups and a couple celelry stalks with cream cheese...I LOVE step 1!!

Sandra - so sorry you are hurt and off plan...remember that all those carbs will only make you feel worse in the long run!!

Lisa - good luck with your lunch date...I have no doubt you will be the model step2 MM!!


Kate - Missed You!! Funny that Lisa checked in and posted here, as I was about to do the very same thing!! We need the update on your niece though! Lisa didnt share!

Barb - I agree that Biggest Loser thing is CRAZY...theres no way those people are going to keep that up after the show is over...I cant even watch it, they are too mean. Maybe we can pitch someone to get us an MM reality show!!

Bev - Dennis is actually not as sick this morning as I thought he would be...very nauseous and cant eat anything, but hopefully that will pass in a day or so...he is still hoping they will send him home tomorrow, but they did some more tests and removed tissue from the bump on his side, so I imagine it will all depend on what they found...Im going to wait around for that recipe!! I always end up with leftover bananas, as mom has me get them, then has like 2 and leaves the rest til they go brown! GRRRR, but she loves the banana bread, and pineapple too, so bet she would love your bread!

It's so good to read all of you. It makes my day to hear how each of you are doing! I just got back from the interview. I don't want to sound cocky, but I'm almost sure I got this job. Some people interviewed and left and some were sent to take tests. I took the tests so it's got to be a good sign. Please, please pray for me everyone. I know there's a lot of people sick and things that could use prayers more, but if I could get this job I could do so much more in the world for people that need it.

Hey Pony, the name of this place is Nationwide Title Company. It's not related in any way to Nationwide insurance is it? I'm not thinking it is but it's funny that they have the same name.

If I get this job, the best thing is that it is simple data entry, with regular hours, Monday through Friday. Could you imagine? A structure! Knowing what day it is! WooHoo!

Ok, I'm going to meditation tonight. It's a great time for it so that I can relax, calm down and then hopefully sleep. They are supposed to be calling me back tomorrow.

There is also a company called Nationwide Title, that does title searches for people buying homes...hopefully its that one?

Kate - Missed You!! Funny that Lisa checked in and posted here, as I was about to do the very same thing!! We need the update on your niece though! Lisa didnt share!

I miss all of you too! My neice is still very sick. She was off of the ventilator for two days but they had to put her back on it yesterday. She had a fever and blood in her lungs. She was hoping to be able to take a few steps unassisted by her 23rd birthday next week. Doesn't look that is going to happen. On Saturday, she will have been in the ICU for 4 weeks. She still has paralysis on her right side. One of her lungs is still partially collapsed. It is hard to imagine that a few weeks ago she seemed and looked like any other 22 year old college student.

I have been so busy with work and then lots of work-related holiday partys. I never want to go but once I get there, I have a good time.

It is been sooooooo cold here! It was in mid-20's this morning. The other morning (Sunday) the heater wouldn't go on. Brad isn't the handiest guy in the world and since it was the weekend, I was already trying to figure out the nearest hotel that takes pooches. I don't know what he did but after making a lot of noise in the basement, he got the heater to go on (I think it was just a circuit breaker but I like to make him feel good ).

I really do hope to catch up on the posts! Robin - back to Step 1! Congrats! And, Nell - a job interview? Wow wow wow!

Oh, Kate, I'm sorry. I did tell everyone that you had some good news, which was of course that she was off the ventilator. Since yesterday she had a set back, but she is making small strides toward recovery, right? We'll keep praying that she walks for her birthday and steadily improves. I hope she is much better for Christmas. Her parents must have been frantic.

Nell: I really hope you get the job! Title searches can be interesting. Just when you think you have clear title, you find out there is a cloud on it. Very important function for all homeowners. You will be doing a vital service. Too bad they don't pay you what they charge the client, lol!

My lunch date was fun today. We went to the Christmas ornament shop and I got some angels and one more Santa that needed a home on my tree We went for Mexican and had the fajita salad. It was wonderful! I dipped my Wheat Thins in the salsa while my friend ate chips. I'm at peace with that! I could bring my blue corn tortilla chips next time. Thankfully, it didn't rain, but it's really cold again. We had a heat lamp on our purple Princess flower all night, but it doesn't look at all good today. Tom asked me out for dinner, but I'm going to whip up some pesto with leftover chicken and stay by the fire. I'm getting cheap in my old age!

Thank Goodness Nell, that sounds like a good deal, and not that horrible scam company...we get calls all the time from poor people who have given them checks for $3000 for "closing costs and title searches" and then they never hear from them again...its all over all the scam alerts, but people still keep falling for it...then they call US, because these people tell them they are affiliated with us! OMG...theres a detective down there working on catching them and shutting them down...

Kate - well we got all excited to hear she was better, so so sorry she took another turn for the worse...this whole thing is just too horrible...what a tough holiday for her family. Good job Brad, flipping those circuit breakers can be very risky business! Dont forget HighPoint Farm in central Virginia takes folks with pooches!!

Lisa - glad you had a good lunch...I KNEW you would be good! LOL

I'm the same way. We seldom go out to dinner because I hardly ever think it's worth the cost and something made at home satisfies better.

OMG just got FB'ed by the guy I was engaged to back in 1978...we split up right before the wedding... after 4 years together...this was back in Massacusetts when I was in college...he is living in VIRGINIA now! Just wants to have a phone chat and catch up...our families were very close too...OMG I totally LOVED this guy, but we were so young...do I call him or not? OK, I need you guys to vote and let me know what you think!! We ended up getting back together a year after we split up, for another year together...but I broke it off again...we have SO MUCH history together...it cant hurt to talk on the phone can it?
