MM Warriors Part Deux (As of October 27)

Well Tutu, If we are missing you at least we know where to go and find you! :rotfl: It's really good to hear you!

Pony, does your company do home insurance too? Ida might get the phone ringing if they do. Let's hope not too much. You know, I like spinach raw a whole lot better than cooked. I use it like lettuce. It's good chopped up in tuna or chicken salad, and it doesn't taste weird at all.

Lisa, you will never have to go back to those old clothes! That is the most incredible thing about this plan of eating. I know that it's doable and I can live with it. You can too! We all feel it. And I've noticed when people slip, it's a whole lot easier to get back on the horse because the plan is designed to handle slips and things that happen as life happens!

Good evening everyone. Hope all is well with you all.
Diane, sorry you didn't get the job. It is so difficult to be patient. God is just waiting to give you the perfect one. I'll be praying.
Not much going on tonight. My knee is still hurting, and I have come to the conclusion it is from all the walking. Maybe arthiritis settling in a bit. I am going to get a new pair of sneakers and see if that may help.
Well, going to make some whipped cream so I can have my jello while I watch house, then the Steeler game. House is more important than the game LOL.
If I don't get back here later, good night all.
Oh, on FB, there are settings where you can choose who you want to see your stuff. Just you, you and friends and everyone. I have me and friends checked as my ex is on there also, and don't want him nosing around.

Kathy, you might try some of those firm molded inserts that cover about 3/4 of the bottom of your foot. Put them inside your sneakers. I love mine and they seem to really help. They are about $30 at the sporting goods store. I get that about FB, but I think Laura has a sub-group. I wouldn't want to mix my chats with you all with any of my other friends as I like us being able to be candid about our journey here. JMHO.

Nell: From your mouth to God's ear...I believe you are right. I'm going to do what ever it takes to be better every day until I reach my goal and then to stay there for life!

Nell - first thing when we got here this morning we were informed that we cannot write ANY policies in Florida, Alabama, Louisiana, and Mississippi until AFTER the hurricane has gone through!! Insurance companies arent stupid...why insure something you are almost sure to have to pay out on!! And of course we have been getting calls all day from those states from people that have no insurance and figured they better try to get some quick!! Guess they should have thought of that before!!

DD10 is giving me a saxophone recital right now.

God bless the band teacher!

Do they have a smilie with earplugs?:rotfl2: Or maybe it's more like this :scared1:

Bev - too funny about the concert!! My poor parents had to put up with both my brother and I "practicing" when we were kids...it must have been horrible for them as we both played multiple instruments plus piano...they had to listen to the amateur versions of any number of tunes played on flutes, clarinets, sax, trumpet, bassoon and even tuba!!! OMG, no wondermy dad was going deaf in his later years!! :lmao:

I WISH I was ready to toss all my clothes...believe me, I cannot wait to start dropping some sizes here...seems like 4 months of this WOE would have produced more size loss...:confused3 but nope, still just one size down...even with all the gym time too? GEEZ!! Whats a girl gotta do to lose some weight? I think Im going to have to complain to Diane when I e-mail her on friday this week...see what she has to say about it! Maybe I am having my step 2 bloating this week instead of last week? I SWEAR I feel enormous this past 2 days!! UGH

My Mediterranean Chicken makes perfect sauce for 1/2 cup Barilla whole wheat pasta. I'm popular again tonight! None for you, Robin, you don't like olives. Have you ever had Greek olives? Manna from heaven.

I like Black olives...just not the icky green ones with the red eyes....yuk!

Just got a recipe from a co-worker to stuff chicken breasts with a combination of feta cheese, cream cheese basil and diced tomato...mmmmm sounds good! She also suggested a Greek Quesadilla thingie...stuff your wrap with turkey, feta cheese, diced cucumber, some sauteed red onion and a dab of greek dressing/vinagrette....that sounds good too!!

Im outta here and off to the gym...:wave2: see if I can get some of this FLUFF to get the heck off my hips!!

Laura: I don't use facebook :upsidedow But so glad to hear from you again!

Sandra: Welcome back!

Diane: so sorry to hear that you didn't get the job:sad1:

Nell: I am doing all the bending and moving I can possibly get in within a days time  I think the more I move the better off I will be! I came home from shopping with my mother and walked the dog 15 min in the dark!:laughing:So I guess I will say yes lots a more bending than I use to do!I can tell a big difference! I don't have a clue how to use facebook what is it?

Natalie: Welcome back glad you had a nice time! :goodvibes

Beverly:Those notes I am sure sound so sweet to your ears :rolleyes1 I know anytime my kids do anything for me it sounds sweet... the neighbors are at the windows like this :scared1: though :rotfl2:

Can't wait to throw all my clothes away either!! Mine are not even worth giving to good will :lmao: I refuse to buy big clothes so all mine are worn really bad!!:scared1:

I'm sorry your frustrated with your size loss Pony. Remember, we don't have to lose it fast, just once. Besides, your building so much muscle, at the same time. I don't know how that would affect sizes.

Lisa, your dinner sounds awesome. I made some tuna with mayo, broccoli soup and had an apple for dessert. I need to get more adventurous!

Melanie, you sound so upbeat! It's good to hear!

Yum, these are Kalamata olives - they are burgandy. You don't like pimento olives. I would try adding some chopped Kalamata to those chicken breasts. I make a Greek salad many days for lunch with feta cheese. Love it!

I love Kalamata olives. I think heaven would be a plate with pepper preserves and Kalmata olives. (it's almost feeding time for me, can you tell?):rotfl:

Oh I have the pumpkin syrup so I am going to check out Barb's receipe, did she post it on the receipe link?

I didn't post it because it wasn't really a recipe, just a thought for a legal step1 treat. Cream cheese, whipping cream, vanilla, pumpkin syrup, pumpkin pie spice and maybe a little extra sweetner all whipped up together into a mousse. I'm going to have to get the syrup online. You can be my tester ;)

Hellacious day today! First day back at work and all the nutsos came out to play! Then I got home and the power went out just before I started dinner. Luckily we have a gas stove so I could do dinner on the stovetop. Dinner by candlelight, and no it wasn't romantic

Diane - I'm thinking about you and your job situation. I have always believed that things happen for a reason. I always tell my kids when something bad happens, you will soon be glad it happened, because you ended up in a better place because of it. Hang in there, the perfect job will happen for you.

Pony, you've been back on step2 for a week? What is it that you are having everyday that you didn't before? If your bloating doesn't go down, I'd be looking at food sensitivities. Usually dairy, eggs and wheat. Are your new protein shakes fairly new to your diet? Are they made with whey protein? I know I found out I was highly sensitive to dairy and eggs and never knew it because I was always bloated  Just a thought.

Nell, I'm glad you are safe and out of the hurricanes path

Oh, yes, a party tray with cream cheese, pepper jelly and olive tampenade on crackers or celery! I actually make this, Nell!
