MM vs EMH at DL

I just read a thread (old one) about MM/EMH and I still cant figure out what the difference is. They said MM and EMH are both Tues, Thurs, Sat at DL and occur one hour prior to park opening, so how are they different?

If you stay in a Disneyland Resort hotel, you can use early entry any and all days of your stay to which ever park has EMH. MM is connected to tickets of 3 days or more, but it is only for one day of early entry. Once you get into the park, there is no difference.

EMH is a perk available only to resort hotel guest every day of their stay to get into DL or DCA on alternating days an hour early
MM is available for one single day to anyone that purchases 3+ day parkhopper ticket in advance and is only for DL park on select days

So on DCA days, park is open early to only EMH
On DL Days, park is open early to both EMH and MM

So if you are both a resort guest AND have a 3+ day advance ticket, the MM perk is irrelevant since you have access to EMH every day.

Why not just call it all Magic Mornings?...The only reason there is a distinction in names is that DCA is not open to MM...only resort hotel guests that get the EMH.

And to clarify a bit further:
For on site guests, early entry to DL is called EMH (Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays -- unless Disney changes the days, e.g. CHOC Walk weekend). The one hour early entry applies to FL and TL only. For DCA, early entry is called EE (Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Sundays -- unless Disney changes the days). For DCA, the one hour early entry is usually for the whole park, unless otherwise stated.
MM only applies to 3+ day tickets, purchased in advance (not at a ticket booth), and not to military discount tickets. One MM per 3+ day ticket and only for DL.
