MM & AP

So we currently have hoppers and plan on upgrading to a DVC AP once we arrive friday. If I order MM how hard is it to get a refund after you use it? I don't know when we will actually upgrade to the AP during the trip so we will be using the MM until then, but will obviously be using the PP once I get the AP. It might not be till closer to the end of the trip. I have 10 month old twins so I have to find a calm moment to go to customer service.
