This may be a silly question but can you take your own posed pictures with the characters at meet and greets and the meals? I know they want you to buy their pictures but do the characters also pose for your own personal camera? And with the meals, I know CRT comes with a photo but I'm unsure of the Star Wars Sci-Fi breakfast (the photo with Darth Vader) - I don't want to be stuck buying all these pictures and realizing I should have done MM! TIA!

I can't speak for all of them, just our personal experience.

At Tusker House Donald's helper took our camera for a few shots, we did not have to purchase anything. They have offered this on more than one occasion.

At Chef Mickey's (at least 5 years ago) we were told we could not use our own camera for the posed picture in front of the dishes with Mickey. We did not have to purchase the pictures they took, but could not use our own camera. That was many years ago, we haven't gone to Chef Mickey's for a few trips, so it could be very different now, or we could have just had a strict CM then.

We were allowed to have our picture taken with my phone at Chef Mickey's last year. The CM actually suggested it.

I'm curious about these "digital downloads" that come with the dining event. If I don't have a MM, how can I obtain the photo?
Also, the last time we went to Chef Mickey, about 2 years ago, the CM took our photo, but only one shot and didn't seem to give it much effort.
