mlk weekend??

Sorry if this question has been asked before -- We will be going to disney for 2 weeks in Jan. - I was thinking of the 13th to the 27th. (the first weekend falls on mlk day) - How busy is it on this weekend?? Should I postpone a week to avoid it?

From everything I've read, it seems that MLK weekend is pretty busy. But that's not stopping us. We're arriving smack dab in the middle of that weekend...on Sunday. We figure that the rest of the week, the crowds will be small enough that we won't mind one or two busier days.

We went over MLK weekend this past January. It seemed liked it was really crowded until we went 6 months later in June. In Jan the wait for rides such as Test track and Mission space were around a 1/2 hour to 45 min. That was around 11 am. The evening EMH's were empty. We are going back around the same time this year.

Thanks for the responses.... I think we will wing it and go-it will be in the middle of our 2 week trip, so maybe we will take that weekend off from the parks!
