MLK Weekend Crowds? (Sunday vs. Monday)

Hi all,

Looking for advice from anyone who has gone to UO/IAO on Martin Luther King weekend.

Looking at historical crowds and ride wait time (from last year to be precise), it appears that wait times were actually better on MLK Day (Monday) than on Sunday.

Anyone been at this time and can comment?

This is when I am planning on going and would love to hear what posters have to say. We will be at the parks Fri, Sat and Sun but will have to fly home on Monday. Wondering if I should change my resort to one that includes Express Pass.

We're going to be there Saturday to Saturday with 4 day tickets, so for sure we're going to do Tues & Wed or Wed & Thurs when it's going to be low crowds. But I know the kids are going to want to go one of the first days we are there so trying to figure out if Sunday or Monday is better.

Sunday and Monday were pretty even crowd wise. Tuesday and Wednesday were lovely and way less crowded. We did fine without express passes. We just had to plan.
