MLB playoffs.. who are you rooting for?

I am rooting for the Yankees.. winners 26 World Championships, 34 American League pennants, 12 American League East Division titles, the team with the most Hall of Famers in Cooperstown, the team with the biggest payroll paid for by owner who plows his own money back into the team.. not owned by a corporate conglomerate like most teams.. ie Chicago Cubs owned by the Tribune Co. the Atlanta Braves.. who are owned by a small company known as AOL/Time - Warner..lol, .. the Minnesota Twins whose owner is a Billonaire, the Aneheim Angels who were up to this year were owned by the tiny media company Disney, the Baltimore owner owned by a multi millonaire lawyer Angelos, The St Louis Cardinals owned by the small brewery Anheismer- Busch who makes the micro brew Budweiser, all of these teams are considered small market but yet are owned by these large companies or owned by a billonaires who gives the club president a budget to work with .. yet George Steinbrenner whose family 's shipping business was almost totally bankrupt , when he bought the Yankees in 1973 bought the Yankees for 12 millon dollars from the CBS who ran the Yankees into the ground, has built the Yankees into the most profitable team in sports. This was done by building a winner. The Mets have 120 millon payroll and they finisheshed last . The Yankees always make the right trades, signs the right free agents. The guy from Texas signs Rodriguez for 120 millon and two years ago had a higher payroll than the Yanks and they finished last too.!!! He plows a large percentage back into the Yankee organization. SO I am tired to hear that the Yankees are have the biggest payroll.. blah blah blah. Every team has the money .. but they only want to spend just enought to lose. GO GO YANKEES.. GO GO free enterprise.

I like the Braves. I remember the days when Uncle Ted owned them. That was before he sold his soul to Time-Warner.

Never been a fan of Ol' George. I remember a time when he was called the most hated man in baseball. If the Yankees hadn't been so successful these past few years, he might still be sporting that nickname.
