MK Xmas Parade

Can anyone tell me when/what date the MK Christmas Parade will be taped for TV this year??
Any past history on the taping??
Is it the 1st weekend in Dec??

oooh, I'd like to know this as well! One year my sister and I were there ON christmas day and were sooooo excited thinking the parade was live and we could go to it and we could wave to our parents back at home ...

Nothing has been announced yet for this year. I don't expect that they will announce the dates for quite some time. In prior years they have taped the parade on the Friday and Saturday nearest to the 1st of December.

now I have been reading that passholders gets the first shot at the tickets now that is annual passholders? Right? Where would you sign up when it comes time for tickets to be released? Has anyone been there for the parade with the stars or the next day with regis and kelly? If so what was it like? Would you do it again? I am thinking this might be cool to go to but I would have a 2 year old then and I am not sure about the crowds. thanks

It's not like it's all shot in real time. They'll run the floats down again and again to get the shot right.

There will be a signup link on Disney's passholder site. It probably won't be until the first of November before they announce it and put the signup page.

They shoot the perfomances in front of the castle over one or two days. Then they do the floats with Regis and Kelly on another day. They will shoot everything at least three times to make sure they've got good footage. We were there once when they were doing the performances, don't think we'll ever do it again. A friend I worked with did the actual parade taping and she said never again.
