MK opens at 9am....should I do the welcome show (I would love to see it again) or should I keep my 8:10am reservations at Be Our Guest? The ONLY reason I would keep my reservations is if it would benefit us on rides/schedules. I have a small child, so we will not be riding Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, etc.

This is for June 14.

Thanks!

A side benefit will be a delicious breakfast, better than any other breakfast at Magic Kingdom or a resort food court. We ate there last week and really liked it. Its lovely in there too.

I vote for BOG also. We have bfast scheduled for both our MK mornings and I'm glad to have the jump on the crowds, we are doing Anna and Elsa one morning and Mine Train the next so I won't have to worry about those FP+

BOG all the way! dont pass up that ADR ive only been once in the past few years and im dying to get back but its always so busy and no ADR'S so defo keep that ADR

If our breakfast reservation is at 8:10, will we have enough time to eat and get out of the restaurant before 9am when the park opens and be in "position" at Anna and Elsa?

I vote for keeping the adr as well. I understand the dilemma- we love the opening show too. But, we park hop and so we'll get to see the opening on a different day. If you only have 1 day at the MK it's a tough choice, but the ADR would win for us.

You will probably still have a wait but you will beat the majority of crowds out if you eat quickly and are served quickly. Iy might be cutting it close but without a FP for Anna & Elsa this will be your best bet. After eating try to get as close to that area as you can and hopefully you won't have much of a wait. Enjoy!

Arrive as early at the restaurant as you can and get checked-in.

And you can pre order your food now while you are waiting out in front of the MK inside the turnstiles on your phone

Beginning April 10, 2015 guests will be allowed to begin pre-ordering their breakfast selections from the My Disney Experience website or app through their “My Reservations” feature. Guests will be allowed to pre-order from 30 days out from their reservation up to 5 minutes before the meal.

Should save some time.

BOG - even if the breakfast sucks, it will give you a jump on the rides - a priceless jump.

Have you seen the welcome show? Maybe I'm jaded because we are ALWAYS there at rope drop, but I don't think it's anything too special.

This recent post on easywdw sold me on the early BOG reservation (although I think MK will open at 8:00 on our next trip, so i won't work for us):

Do you have a day with EMH? If you do no one had fast passes at that time. We went last week at rope drop & saw the Ice sisters in about 8 minutes.

The BOG is so cool shame to rush breakfast to get a jump on rides. We went for lunch so did not have to worry about that.

Thanks everyone! We will be at MK more than one day but we will not be coming during the morning another day. Also, this is not an EMH morning.

Thanks again.

BOG. My favorite pics from our summer trip are our near empty Main St. pictures.
Totally OT but we have early 8 AM reservations on our first two days there.. park opens at 9 and I really want a pic of the fam on an empty main st.. was there anyone else around to take your pic?

I'm working with hearsay, and I'll find out in a few weeks for myself. but I've definitely heard that there are MM photographers out by 8 to take photos as people are en route to breakfast.
