So, I'm going to MK on a Wednesday morning in May (non-EMH). We have no plans to ride Space, Splash, or Big Thunder since we'll be riding those later in the week. 4 adults. No children. No desire to see Enchanted Tales, Barnstormer, or meet n greets. Everything else is fair game.

We'll be at rope drop. What suggested rides would you hit up in the first two hours?

Peter Pan
Winnie the Pooh
Buzz
Jungle Cruise
Pirates
Haunted Mansion
Under the Sea - Journey of the Little Mermaid

pretty much as many as you can. If you have no kids and just go from ride to ride with little or no breaks, you should be able to get in a ton. I'd recommend starting with peter pan, pooh, little mermaid, dumbo, indy speedway, buzz lightyear, then cut across the hub and do jungle cruise, pirates and by that time the crowds will start to get there, and you can relax and take it slow and enjoy some shows/take in the scenery and enjoy the longer rides. The line for peter pan gets long so quickly, so be sure to do that one first. after that though, its fair game. We prefer haunted mansion at night because of the theming, so we never do this one early. Don't do jungle cruise or pirates in the first hour definitely, they are longer rides that will suck up your time. Do these around 10:30 when you've already done a lot of others. We usually eat an early lunch at 11 or 11:30, as soon as they open, to beat the lunch crowds, because the lines for quick service places will get long around noon. Around noon we will begin to take our time and relax around the park for the afternoon. We people watch, ride the TTA, watch carousel of progress, philharmagic, small world if the line is short, tiki room, aladdin magic carpets, carousel, tea cups, explore tom sawyer island, river boat, hall of presidents, lili and stitch, monsters laugh floor, or if a line to one of our favorite rides is short we will hop in that. During the 3 o'clock parade the lines will get momentarily short, so if you are not interested in seeing this or will see it another day, this can be a great time to be in adventure land or tomorrow land away from the parade route and sneak in another ride or two. We typically eat dinner around 5 or 6 and relax while the park starts to clear out. In the evenings we will ride our favorite rides again and take in more of the scenery. We are WDW locals and never go to the crowds during busy times, and when we go we often go for only the morning or night, but when we take family to the parks who have never been, this is usually our game plan. Are you sure you guys don't want to ride the mountains at all again? What are your FP+ selections for the day? Or what are you planning on selecting?

I would try to head back to Fantasyland first to get all of the older rides like Peter Pan, Small World, Pooh, etc. because those usually accumulate large lines fairly quickly. Other than that, it's really just a matter of hitting the right rides at the right times. We found that if you're willing to skip the Electrical Parade and Wishes, there aren't really any long lines while those are happening.
