MK to WL

To avoid the mass exodus and speed up the return to WL when MK closes, is it feasible to walk to CR and take the boat to WL? Or will that take longer?

It's feasible, but I'm not sure how often the Contemporary to Wilderness Lodge boat runs and if it runs as late as the Magic Kingdom is open. I've only taken the boat back and forth between the hotels during the day.

I thought the Contemp to/from WL boat stops at 10pm

I'm pretty sure that boat does stop at 10 P.M.
We never ended up taking the boat, is there a huge wait for the boat from MK at the end of the night?

The boat from the CR to the WL stops at 10pm nightly, regardless of MK closing.

Another option instead of the boat to WL, you can now take a direct bus to WL from the MK.

I'm glad they now have a bus in addition to the boat. The boat to WL at MK closing time was always a congested mess IMHO. We used to take the monorail to the TTC and then take the bus to the WL.
