MK Portrait Session

When I was looking around on here a few days ago, I thought I remembered reading something about a couple taking some of their pictures at their MK portrait session in front of the Haunted Mansion. If any of you did, I would LOVE to see how the pictures turned out.

We just booked our portrait session for the morning after our wedding and requested that we take some at or near the Haunted Mansion.

I heard about that... however, just remember that they usually don't go outside their normal areas. I don't want you to be upset if you don't get that area. Our photographer took pics of us in front of the Tomorrowland area because those lights were on. He said they were never on in the morning. Good luck.

My EM made it sound like they are more open to going different places. We'll see. Maybe it depends on the photographer.

What are the normal areas they do?

I am in the planning stages of our vow renewal and am thinking about a MK or Epcot photo session.

My understanding is that the castle and the carousel are the approved sites.

Yes, the castle and the carousel are the typical sites; however, I really think that it depends on the photographer! Just ask your photographer and don't go into it expecting it I really want photos on Main Street, but im not going to expect it so if it happens it will be a great surprise!

Oh, I was able to get pics on Main Street too. However, they aren't my favorite. My dress got filthy because were cleaning the park and the ground is wet from them cleaning.

See, I've heard that some people could and some coupldn't...It seems like such an iffy subject! That's no good about your dress though! I guess when we are walking around, Ill have to pick it all the way up to my knees

Yes... pick it up as high as you can! I thought I was being very careful, but I wasn't careful enough. Didn't help that my toes had blisters from my shoes from the day before...long story.

I was one of the fortunate ones who had a photo taken in front of the Haunted Mansion attraction. Since my husband and I had celebrated our 19th wedding anniversary with a dinner party on the ballroom set of the "Haunted Mansion" movie (click here), I thought it was appropriate that our 20th wedding anniversary included a photo in front of the Haunted Mansion attraction. I must state for the record that our photographer was not too keen on the idea but he eventually consented. However, after having posed for that photo, I could understand why the photographer did not want to take any photos at that location. We were literally eaten alive by mosquitoes. It was horrid. Ouch!
