MK opening show

We are taking our 2 1/2 yr old to MK. We have ADR's for the CP at 8:00 a.m. The park doesn't open until 9, so we will get in before the crowds and get some good pictures. I would also like for my son to see the opening show at the train station w/Mickey. Does this sound possible and where is the best place to see the show? Do we need to be next to the turnsiles or can we see it from Main St. What time does the show usually start when the park opens at 9. Thanks!

We we're there yesterday and saw the opening. It was quicky there were some preformers dressed and then Mickey and the Characters came around on the train and opened the park. You need to be at the front of the park by the entrance to see.

About 8:45am start time. You must be on the side of the train station that faces the turnstyles (and the lagoon) to see any of the show.

About 8:54 start time. You must be on the side of the train station that faces the turnstyles (and the lagoon) to see any of the show.

It actually starts at 8:48. The call for Train Go from the hold point is usually at 8:50. Make sure you are there by 8:45 so you don't miss anything.
