How do they do the Magic Kingdom Opening Show on Extra Magic Hour days? Do they do it at the usual opening time, the EMH time, or not at all? I don't want to miss it!

The last time I was at MK for an EMH, they did the Opening Show at the PARK opening time of 9am, not the EMH opening time.

:earsboy:

Usually they have a abbreviated opening show where a couple of families toss pixie dust in the air after a countdown. And at 9:00 there is just an announcement welcoming everyone to the Magic Kingdom.
The full trainshow is only on regular opening days.

I thought EMH was replaced in a test right now. (Keeping open later for resort guests, replacing EMH)

The official line is "As part of our continuous improvement efforts at the Walt Disney World Resort, from May 9 through May 22 we will test varying the Extra Magic Hour schedule to include time in both the early morning and evening." So some days there are morning hours and some there are evening hours.

We were there this Easter and my 2 children were pick to open the park on Early entry they did the music and the pixie dust but not like they do at normal entry time but it was still very special, it was kinda of funny because they could'nt get there music qued up right so the park could not open until they had it right about 10 mins late the park opened and then it was a mad dash to space like the good old days it was a all out run good think nobody got hurt at least I did'nt see anyone trampled.

I guess I'm looking for advice, because I've never seen the opening show, and I really want to. But I also want to go to EMH. So it looks like I'll have to go to MK on two mornings...one on EHM morning with the abbreviated show, and one on a regular day with the real show. I was hoping the real show would still be done on EMH days.
