Anyone else here for Moonlight Magic tonight (January 28)? We were hoping to go to the park earlier but it's been raining (and something I ate at Trails End for dinner has killed my stomach). Ugh! Might have to throw in the towel on this one unless the rain lets up some in the next hour or two (and my stomach starts feeling better).

Sorry this happened to you. I went to Urgent Care this morning, and I have the flu, so, we won’t be there tonight either. I guess I caught the flu on the cruise last week, my room mate came down with it, so it was inevitable that I would get it. My symptoms came suddenly last night.
Except for the Broadway singers at Epcot last night, this has been a tough vacation. I need to go home and rest.

Thanks. So sorry you're sick too. It stinks to be sick on vacation. We're semi-local, live about an hour away but made a camping reservation because we didn't want to drive home late. So...the "free" MK night cost us 2 nights in the kennel for dogs, a night at Ft Wilderness and a meal that I got sick on. That's life I guess, I'm just laughing at the absurdity and rolling with the punches. We didn't get annual passes this year because we wanted to do some non-Disney travels so my bright idea was "we can just go to some of the Moonlight Magic events" for my Mouse-fix!

Hope you get over the flu soon. It's a bad one this year!

We cancelled going as well. My daughter and I had the flu last week and decided it wasn't worth the chance of getting wet and sick. Was able to cancel my room without penalty and we just stayed home. We are locals (well an hour and ahalf away) as well.

Wow! You're feeling better from the flu in 1 day! That's amazing! Did you have a flu shot? Just curious since the people I know who caught it have been down for 4-5 days. Kind of worried about traveling next week, honestly!

It's horrible to be sick on vacation. This flu is so bad this year. A number of years back both of my kids came down with Norovirus, when at WDW. It was horrible, my son ended up in the Emergency room. Hope everyone is feeling better soon.

Yes, I had received the senior dose flu shot when it was first offered. I have taken 3 doses of Tamiflu now. I cough, but I no longer have body aches. I had headaches and ear aches and leg pains, but no longer.
I am tired, but not exhausted.

We went last night and had a ball! It was obvious lots of people canceled. It was nowhere near as crowded as last year. Everything we rode was a walk-on, and even the food lines were manageable.

Made precious memories literally dancing in the rain. And tomorrow we’ll play again at Disney After Hours!

Very nice that they cancelled without penalty.

We were booked at Caribbean Beach for the night. I said I was going to have to cancel or could I change the room to another date since we were just getting over the flu and had to miss and the girl said she could do it since I have never cancelled before. The refund is already pending on my credit card so I am hoping they put it through.

We leave next week and really worried about getting sick. We also had shots, me the regular one, husband got the super size one. Hopefully we can bounce back quickly if we do get it. Staying in my bubble right now. Also cruising. We are booked for next weeks moonlight event.
