I saw a rumor that MK park hours have been extended on some days and Spectro added, too! Also, more E-ride nights were added! Keep an eye out on WDW's official website for possibly some new hours!!!
If so, I'll email WDW thanks cause I was one of the ones to email and complain!
(So darn happy right now...)

Well this certainly made our day:teeth: :teeth: !!

Thank you so much for sharing this information!

Is it true? Is there really going to be an E-ride night while I am there? I hope so! Thanks for this info, even if it means I have to completely change my park days :bounce:

Wait just a minute!

After reading this thread I quickly checked the disneyworld.com and MK closes at 7:00 pm during the week. But I really haven't checked park hours in a while.

But the dates of these posts are today.....does that mean that these hours posted on this thread are new since posted on the official website???

Oh please let this be true!!! I will be so thrilled if we would actually get to see fireworks and spectromagic for once!!!

This would be such great news!!!

Although the official park hours dont still show it, the hour changes have been listed on tourguidemike.com. Also, I notice a discrepency on what has been listed here, and what is on mike's site.
on the 27th, it was posted that park hours were 9-8 with fits at 9, Mike is reporting that the park closes at eight, and there is no fits. Just thought you might like to know....

here's the link if you are interested in looking, park hour changes are always free info

actually, since its public info, I will just cut and paste for you so you dont have to bother to take the link

As I predicted, Disney released new entertainment schedules today for the Magic Kingdom! We now have more Fantasy In the Sky Fireworks, and SpectroMagic is offered on seven nights - hallelujah!

And the good news just keeps on comin' ... There are now five E-Ride Night opportunities on May 10, 17, 24, 27, and 30. Take the link for all the info you need.

Here is a link for you to all of the parks' May schedules. As always, I have highlighted the SpectroMagic nights in a red font to help them stand out.

ALL Parks May Hours
This takes a few moments to display. Please be patient.

May Magic Kingdom Entertainment - The Latest ...

Fantasy In the Sky Fireworks:

May 1, 6, & 10: 9:15 p.m.
May 13, 17, 20, & 24: 9:30 p.m.
May 25, 26, 28, 31: 9 p.m.

SpectroMagic Parade:

May 1, 6, & 10: 8:30 p.m.
May 13, 17, 20, & 24: 8:45 p.m.

I didn't notice any other scheduling changes at the other parks, but I'll keep you informed.

Because of world events, Disney's ability to accurately predict their monthly attendance figures has been lessened. They've made extensive multiple changes to the park hours and entertainment during both March and April, so please stay tuned ... ;>)

I really hope this does show up on the official site. I also emailed WDW with my complaints about the hours.

HI! Definitely true...talked to a CM today as I made a new PS.

YAY! But I need some help. I asked this on another thread, but this one will probably be more widely read, so...

This changes EVERYTHING for us and will involve serious PS changes (if possible!) and/or probably major park-hopping on the 5th and 6th . What should I do? I have never seen spectro - last visit was ten years ago with electric parade. Is it worth it to change everything or should I just pretend I never heard anything and skip it this trip. You just can't do it all, and I'm wondering if this is one of those things we'll have to do without.

I'd love to hear from you guys on your opinions. Is it worth giving up my sanity? HELP!! leaving in 14 days!! THANKS!

YIPPEE!!
Our first visit and the hours are extended! And we get to see the spectromagic parade.........cant wait!

timbud,
If you haven't seen Spectro it's a must see. It will be worth changing plans. You must get there early to stake out a good spot.

I hate to get our hopes up. How reliable has TourGuideMikes info been in the past?

Any news for those of us going down in late-May? We're going to be there from May 28-June 1...and Spectro is my absolute favorite thing at WDW. Missed it in February because of rain...

I called Disney, but got a "No official plans have been made for those dates" answer...I don't care about the official-line...but I would love to know anything unofficial about these dates.

Mickey maniac

100% reliable, Vip tourguide for royalty, the rich, and the famous...doubt he would post anything that was not written in stone before the official site

timbud1, more information please, what had you planned for the 5th and 6th. to take in spectro, alls you need to do is get a ps for ltt, or cp for around five get to the park at around four, have a great meal, stake out your parade place, then watch it, then go get a great view for fits...... you could do another park in the morning..... what was your plan?

Just wondering....we are going down May 18th-26...we have 6 day PH+ passes....we will spend mon-fri in the parks and planned on avoiding it during memorial day weekend and hit DTD, DQ and waterparks..HOWEVER....there is an Eride night scheduled for Sat night....how worth it would it be to use day 6 of my PH+ pass really just to get access to eride? I was thinking it would be better to save that last day for future use....do u think, throughout the week, that I will have plenty of time to hit the rides at MK (we plan 2 days at least at MK) considering crowds and days in park? Thanks!

Totally worth it. Lets just say that once you go you will be very happy that you did. Its fun and you get amazing access to the best rides at MK.

2 days should be enough to do the MK. Saturday is the busiest day at MK so you may want to consider that as a reason not to use the pass that day

Thanks
Jason

I called WDW guest services as well. Those hours are confirmed. Then I called WDW-DINE and changed all my PS around-there are a few slots filling up already because of the hour changes (like Cali Grill due to FITS). CM said it's been nuts for two days.
