MK Lunches not available first week of January?

Just tried to make my reservations for our stay the first week of Jan, and both Liberty Tree and Plaza are saying no availability on any day I check, for lunch.

How bizarre is this? Crowd wise it can't be too awful - I was able to get every single thing I wanted, at the times I wanted, except these two.

Thoughts? Just not loaded into the system yet? Not serving lunch that week?

Anyone have any idea?

Yep, I was so angry when Firefox wouldn't do my ADRs this morning. Had to use Safari, which was totally new t me....but worked like a charm!

Well that's just ridiculous.

I did call this afternoon - had to wait until I could get away from the kiddos, as it's a surprise trip.

The CM I spoke to was of ZERO help (which, sadly, seems more the norm lately....) - oh, you can't book yet because it's more than 180 day (hello, I have a resort reservation). Oh, you can't book yet because you're not on the dining plan (oh, don't EVEN go there....). Oh, you already booked - blah blah blah, reads back my resort reservation number and tries to convince me it's a reservation number for LTT

Spoke to his supervisor "Well, ma'am, how about we try somewhere else!" Ok - sure - anywhere with table service in MK on either 1/3 or 1/6 would be great. "Oh, no, I mean a different park!" Right. No thanks. I have my plan, I'm not interested in you coercing me somewhere else just so you can put a hash mark next to "solved problem".

So, long story short, they're just flat out not loaded yet. Which is ASININE, as this should all be computerized by now.

I feel your frustration ... I'm right there with you!

Fortunately, in the past 3 days I 've spoken to 4 very good CMs ... they tried just about everything to figure out why no ADRs were available.

After today's call though, I started to get annoyed. At first, I was willing to buy the "oh, it's not 180 days yet so not all the ADRs are loaded" reasoning, but I today I even had them check for Jan. 1 (180 days out on the nose) and still the same problems. Very frustrating!

On top of that, assuming they ever get the ADRs for CRT loaded, apparently they are having issues booking party sizes greater than 6 at CRT ...

Since we are a party of 8, it looks like we will need to make 2 SEPARATE reservations for 4 people each (as opposed to mulitple tables under one ADR # which sometimes happens). This isn't ideal ... we really wanted to be together for this experience as (unlike our trips to WDW) CRT will likely be a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

My 4 yo nephew thinks it would be a "very good idea" to eat breakfast in the castle and his twin 2yo brothers are willing to go along with just about anything. My sister, mother, and I figure our days of the boys being associated with anything princessy are numbered, and my father and brother-in-law are onboard to "check it out", so we opted to go for it while we can!

I am also having problems regardless of which browser I use. I made tons of reservations yesterday and a very nice cast member told me on the phone that a number of restaurants have not loaded their january availability yet so i should keep checking back, but now the website says my reservation does not qualify me for the advanced window during the dates i want even though I am staying at VWL that day, it is in the window and I have other reservations for that week. Get it together Disney if you want our money! My daughter will be very upset if we do not get our breakfast at akershus because her brother got his at hollywood and vine. I will gladly call, but i live in europe and it is expensive to pay so much to talk to a cm who is really dumb. I hope everyone gets their reservations!

I hear you! I wil be so disgusted with Disney (and it takes alot to say that) just because of this simple fix!

Well ... no luck again today ... same story. I have actually emailed WDW Guest Communications about this ... enough is enough already. (I have received a "got your email someone will get back to you within 10 business days" reply already.)

For those of you looking for MK lunches, they did have those available today for CRT on both the 1, 2, and 4. I also just checked online (no resort reservation number) and was able to pull up a lunch CRT ADR for Jan 2 for a party of 2. Hope this helps someone!

Round 5 is set for 7AM tomorrow ... it's scary how the whole "alarm goes off, call with no luck, grumble, roll over and go back to sleep" sequence is pretty much routine now.

Well, some of the lunch times are open now. I didn't check breakfasts.

Still no Plaza, which I'm bummed about. They also didn't have Tomorrowland Terrace or Diamond Horseshoe, so I'm wondering if they're making Plaza for lunch a high season time only, now? If so, I think that's an awful decision - it's a great lunch spot!!!

Hope you guys have had luck today, too - this was particularly frustrating.

Well, today was 180 days exactly for January 4th ... and CRT breakfast ADRs still aren't loaded for January.

It's pretty bad when the CM tells you up front "I should probably tell you that they weren't loaded as of yesterday but I will check for you." To which I replied "Oh, I know, this is the 5th day in a row I've called."

She was very apologetic when she discovered that there was still nothing loaded. She also indicated that the she had no timeline of when they should be in the system.

I have to say, the 6 CMs I've dealt with since July 3rd have all been fantastic. (The one yesterday contacted her supervisor to see what was up and then concluded that it was "just not right" to have lunch and dinner available but not breakfast.
