Hi all!!

I am going to WDW with my DS5 during the last week in July. :yay: I've got our daily meal plans mostly settled, with the exception of lunch options for our MK day. We could eat at POP when we go back to rest, but I think we'll be starving by then and I'd like to try something in MK since we'll probably eat at POP a couple times during our trip.

Our MK day will start with the character breakfast at Crystal Palace at 8am & we'll have dinner at The Wave around 6. So, I'm looking for a quick service spot where we can grab a bite to eat. I don't have a touring plan for the day established yet, so anywhere in MK is an option at this point.

Some other places we're planning to eat on our trip, just to give you an idea of our tastes & just cuz I want to post them, :cool1: are: Sunshine Seasons(Lunch), Garden Grill(Dinner), Donald's Safari(Breakfast), Restaurantosaurus(Lunch), TRex (Dinner), Everything POP(Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner), Sci-Fi Dine-in(Lunch).

Thanks so much!!

caseys corner is a quick service adn has hotdogs up for grabs. you get a dog, cracker jacks! and a drink for your combo. oh and i think fries.

we ate at tonys town square two weeks ago for lunch and i have to say i didnt like it. loved it five years ago, not so much now.

also cosmic rays in tomorrowland offers burgers, dogs, and i think chicken and the portions are quite large on some. i think theres a chicken and rib combo there too.

loved sunshine seasons this trip- we had never eaten there before! and also gg, we've been twice now.

for cs in MK we like:

Cosmic Ray's - good variety & large portions
Columbia Harbor House - good food consisting of some fish options on menu
Casey's Corner - hot dogs & corn dog nuggets :thumbsup2

Cosmic Rays is very good, along w/ Peco Bills.( love that they both have fixin bars) We have not tried Columbia Harbor House yet but I have heard nothing but good things about it.

I really enjoy Columbia Harbor House, especially a table on the 2nd floor

The Magic Kingdom has plenty of counter service locations. Columbia Harbour House is my favorite, but Pecos Bill Cafe and Cosmic Ray's are also viable options.

We love eating upstairs in Columbia Harbour House. We also don't mind Pecos Bill's.

That is a tough one for me because I love both Columbia Harbour House and Cosmic Rays. Columbia Harbour House has great tuna salad and fish & chips. Cosmic Rays has big portions -my DH & I split the rib/chicken combo. It would be easy to split a meal with your son if you can agree on something. I'm also a cheapie and get tap water and add my single serving lemonade/koolaid! I'd suggest winging it based upon where you are at when you get the urge to eat. If you are in Tomorrow Land or near its entrance at the Castle then hit Rays. If you are in Frontierland or near its entrance in Fantasy Land then hit Columbia Harbour.

I didn't enjoy Pecos Bills very much. Their barbeque was not good and the burgers were the same as anywhere.

Thanks so much for all your wonderful suggestions!!

Depending on where we'll be, I'm thinking it'll be a toss up between Columbia Harbor House, Cosmic Ray's & Casey's Corner (I love cracker jacks!)

Now, I'm hungry!
