MK is Issuing “Bonus” Anytime FPs

I think this is a fabulous idea and I have a disney fanatic friend who would probably think this is a hoot to do!

I was at MK on Christmas Day (AK in the morning, hopped to MK for our 3 pre-set FP+). MK was at some sort of phased closure (notification appeared on my phone) but I was able to get in (staying at AoA). Ended up using only 4 FPs that day and I didn't get that bonus FP either. If I did, would've taken my kids to Thunder Mountain (got 11 pm and 9 pm to pop up but didn't want to wait that long). I guess this bonus was only as your 7th FP.

We didn’t experience the bonus FPs during Christmas/NYE week, either. We used FPs in MK several days that week.

I find it to be a little time/attention consuming to be constantly refreshing for any desired 4th, 5th, etc. FPs while in the park. Having someone “back home” searching for, and booking them allows the park goers to enjoy their time that much more. As Hiro said, it can also feel like you have your own personal concierge service guiding you through the park!

.......It can also be fun for the person back home that’s doing the booking too! Gives you the feeling you’re along for the ride. Even if only for a second or two.

Exactly! I do this for friends also, especially those new to WDW and MDE, who are already trying to navigate their way around. I also enjoy living vicariously and knowing they are getting on the most rides they can that way!

We have a random FP for Monsters Inc for tomorrow that I didn't make. I noticed it when I was reviewing tomorrow's plans. So we have four fastpasses scheduled for MK tomorrow.

My mistake. It was for the other party linked to my MDE, not us. Good thing I clicked on it to check. So we didn't get a bonus fp for MK. Sorry about that.
