MK Fireworks with 4 Year Old

I am going to Disney with my mom and 4 year old in November. Need your thoughts on fireworks viewing. We will be taking advantage of early magic hours with plans to leave MK after lunch to go back to the resort to relax. We had been planning to bus back to the park for the electrical parade and wishes. With the cancellation of the electrical parade I am wondering if it makes sense for us to go to Narcoose's instead and do a late dinner to watch wishes and the water parade? Thoughts?

Watching the castle show (celebrate the magic) and wishes from in front of the castle are so much better than from outside the park-my 4 y/o loves CTM as much as the fireworks

The water parade is cute but nothing crazy, I'd rather see Wishes in front of the castle.

If this is your only time watching Wishes during your trip I'd return to MK and watch them from in front of the castle. The view from any of the monorail resorts is nice, but watching them from Main St. is the best!

Last year, I left Chef Mickey's and took the monorail so that I could take the bus at MK to get to my hotel and we saw the Water Pageant from the monorail and it was so much fun seeing it from up top! (Thankfully the monorail did its usual stops in the middle of nowhere before arriving on a destination)
The fireworks started as we walked in front of the park and let me tell you, watching them from in front of the castle is magical, but being able to watch it from another point is quite memorable too, so it all depends on what you want. It was my nephew's (who was 3 at the time) first time seeing fireworks and we were worried since he doesn't do well with loud noises and he just stood in awe. Seeing his face look at them for the first time was an experience of its own. Just think about what you think you would like your family to see, and go from there!

My 4 year old loves celebrate the magic, the projections on the castle, right before wishes just as much as the fireworks itself. Plus being near the hub you can see Tink fly overhead to the castle which is pretty awesome to my 4 year old.

I would say this is a good plan only if your 4 year old is down for a LATE dinner and is able to stay up late without losing it. Mine would not be, and no one would enjoy dinner. A nap doesn't change my kid's need to eat dinner before 8pm.

We also don't typically stay in the parks for Wishes. Yes, they are great fireworks. No, they are not worth a meltdown if your kid is not used to staying up late. We're going to try hitting up Wishes in a couple of weeks from TOTWL, but I still probably wouldn't watch from inside the park with my almost 5 year old. It's a madhouse afterwards.
