MK Fireworks Cruise versus Epcot Illumanations Cruise

I was a little late calling this morning and missed the illumanations cruise. I booked the last boat for the MK fireworks cruise (tentatively) leaving from the contemprary.When the hours are posted I am supposed to call back and confirm the times. Anyway, has anyone done both and which do you prefer? I have one more chance to try for the illumanationc cruise. Just trying to see what the best option is here.

I've never been but we have a Fireworks booked for March. I've heard lots of great things about it though!

I hope you are trying to book the Illuminations this morning.

I have done both repeatedly, and they are both really cool. My preference is the Illuminations cruise, but that's primarily because I love the music and you ARE a lot closer.

Even if you don't get the Illumnations cruise, you'll still have a good time on the MK fireworks cruise. If you get it, I might consider doing both of I were you. We did this last trip and loved both.

I have not done the Illuminations cruise but the Magic Kingdom fireworks cruise is wonderful. We have done it twice and it was by far the best money we spent there. We plan on trying the Illuminations cruise this December.
